You made a good choice!

Been there 9 months and LOVE it!!! Plenty of work, good platform, great staff.
I finally found a home.
Same program used now as 4 years ago. Very simple to use. nm

great choice
I work for Transform and use Vscript. I absolutely LOVE it. I have been an MT for 10 years now and have worked for 2 nationals and 3 small companies. This is the BEST company/platform ever. I can produce 2000 lines a day and the management/owners are fantastic. Tech support is great too. My computer has crashed twice in the last few months and the tech guy has been able to save me! I can't say enough good things about the company/platform. Good luck to you!
yes, about five yr ago, not a good exp, very rude staff...nm

I think that is great. Very wise choice.

Agreed, not a great choice...sm
I was with them for four years. Finally had enough. I can't even begin to tell you what's wrong with this company. Apparently, they've changed. Doubtful, not with some of the same troublemakers on board.
Clear Choice looks great
Wonderful staff, great accounts, very flexible company - love the website!
Great program!
I would highly recommend the AIM program to anybody! I have finished the AIM program and now I am hired with Allstate working on a great account! I feel like the money I paid to my school was a waste because I learned all from Deb and the AIM program. The 12 weeks flies by and by the end you will feel so much success! The QA is wonderful and they never hesitate to help you if you have any questions. Good luck to you Mary and I wish you the same success that I had through the AIM program!
employee, DD, pay on time as other said, good staff, appreciative.

It is First Choice Medical and they are a great company. Nothing bad to say. Try'em. nm

First Choice Medical is a great company to work for, and I think they are hiring too.
I have been there for over 4 years now. They use WP51 too if you want. Good luck to you.
I agree with the poster. A simple, "Sorry, but it's just a good fit for me is all that is need
Everyone knows in this business that what is good for one person is not necessarily good for another. I've gotten more jobs based on other's recommendations only to be sooooo disappointed. To each his own and good luck. It's not like your the first person to quit a transcription job. It gets easier.....trust me LOL
LOL!!! Great reading!! Mentoring program straight to QA at
ewwwwwww!
Internet - kind of a DQS-like program. Great company. nm

For a great radiology program, you want Fusion RIS (formerly RIS Logic)
https://www.merge.com/estore/software.aspx
Now THAT'S a nice, quick, simple radiology program that you can use ShortHand with and WinScribe or whatever waveplayer. Ahhhhhhh!
D&L Services offering a great bonus program. Why not,
sdf
support/technical dept is great. i use mine so i think that is just a personal choice and don't

The staff and the attitudes of the staff. Very helpful, cheerful. (sm)
They seem to work extremely hard to balance everything out, enough work, enough MTs and always making sure they let the MTs know they are a valuable asset to the company. That means a lot. Not to mention the bennies are pretty good, too.
You made some great points here.
MTs do not have to work all night just to have a job. There's nothing wrong with wanting to work certain hours or certain shifts. Besides, my favorite shift is 6 a.m. to 3 p.m., which translates to 4 a.m. to 1 p.m. for the MTSO I work for. There's no need to work 12-15 hour shifts if I can get my required lines plus bonus done in 6-8 hours.
I think the OP is just unhappy and trying to feel superior by dogging other people.
WMX is a great company to work for. Made
nm
good choice for me...sm
I am very happy with them. Have been with them since September. I make more than 8-1/2 cpl. I do think the rate is based on the account. My account is pretty easy.
Good choice!
Great company. Love it here.
Doing great! Made more money in one week at TT than I did in a whole month
at previous job!
TransTech is not being loyal to their MT's, so you have made a great decision
The pay is always on time, but the paycheck continues to dwindle, so makes it easier for TT to pay their MT's, for sure.
It is so depressing that TT mgmt/lead/sups/tech/in-house clerks, etc. have absolutely no LOW PAYCHECKS.
They have VERY MUCH OVERHIRED; however, they are losing MT's at about the same rate, but they don't care, because there are newbies that will work for practically nothing to get a start, and all they have to do is make a phone call to TT and they are hired !@!
First Choice and QT. Both good companies, too.sm
I recently moved to an area that doesn't offer broadband yet, and I've been using dailup with these 2 companies since. If you can stand how looooonnnng it takes to download with dialup, suggest you give either of these companies a call. Transmitting back the transcribed reports doesn't pose any problems, for some reason. Not sure if either has a lot of radiology work, though. Definitely worth checking. Good luck!
Medware has been a good choice for me
I am on the EXText platform, acute care. They have been a good service to work for, I like my team leader and needed good insurance. Plus, direct deposit is better than waiting on the mail like my old position.
MedScribe has been a good choice
My pay is always on time, every two weeks by direct deposit. The insurance is with Aetna, very low deductable, great plan but it' s about $37 per week. My base line rate is higher than a larger company I just left plus MedScribe has a nice incentive plan, two levels that are included in every pay period. I think we are getting more business from a large group of hospitals that we currently do work for, and that is always a good thing. So far I like everyone that I have talked with and I am happy. Good luck to you.
System great, pay good, everything great, but most managers from old Edix, problems, poor people ski
when you are out of work, you are out of luck. If you are good at brown-nosing, are tough enough to be without any self-esteem, and have maybe money coming into the household on the side in case you tick someone off, then you may succeed, for a little while.
Don't ever ask questions or have problems with anything. Don't ever have a problem. Don't think you will have any control over anything you do, either.
A few 'good' managers remained when I left, but the new ones were all from the old Edix, and were completely into numbers, cared nothing for individual MTs...if there is work, you BETTER be working. If there no work, you will hear nothing, no one will help you.
program is good
Pay is low for interns but promise good pay if your performance improves. Except for one or two QAs who are strict, they are good, and yes, they are totally upfront with their employees. It also helps that the feedback system is quick.
Either would be a good choice. I've worked for both.
In the archives, both companies have good and bad comments. You have to weigh one against the other and whether you think someone is just disgruntled or not. Both are better than MQ or Sph.
Working for WebMedX is a good choice
From the companies available to work for, I would say this is one of the better. They have really decent benefits, the pay is good, they don't hassle you. Feedback/QA is great. I have to say they are one of my favorites that I have worked for and they are very fair to the employees. (Another good company is Phoenix).
Looking for work, is Transcend a good choice
to apply to?
Ain't nuttin' good 'bout that program.
A cheap and horrible version of voice recognition program. Always broken, horrible platforms, and naturally the shirts don't care, they just make the MTs do more work to try to make it work and the pay keeps getting cut. This thing can't even keep the demographics updated, you have to do extra work on every document to make sure it is updated. What a piece of garbage!
P.S. Exact same hours of my choice, benefits, etc,, Good luck All!!....NM

So are we all in agrement that ChartScript is productive and a good program? nm

Can someone recommend a good text expansion program? Thanks!

SoftScript employees? Good money? Easy program? SM
I am interested in current information on Soft Script. Is it possible to make good money ($40,000 year/full time).
Is the programming easy?
Sound quality good? I was told it was good.
Thanks for all your help. Please email me if you wish. Thank you.
SoftScript employees? Good money? Easy program? SM
Although I realize this post is months after the original post, who in the world told you that MTs make $40,000 per year, especially at SoftScript? If you were talking to the owner (ewww!) or manager, they told you a bold-faced lie.
RUN, RUN, RUN, RUN, RUN......
Just curious
You made a very good point.
As patients, we need to be more proactive with our medical records by asking to inspect them every now and then. I have a close friend who was an independent contractor that tried to get health insurance on her own and was denied by several different companies. She finally found out that there was a diagnosis of cancer made in one of her medical records that was made in error. She finally found out that her doctor never proofread his reports and it was transcribed on one of documents, but she had to jump through hoops by providing all sorts of documentation to prove she didn't have cancer. It took investigation by the insurance companies to bring this mistake to light, but just imagine the mistakes that are not caught because of our medical records not being regularly examined. I think we, as PAYING clients of these physicians, should start demanding more accountability and accuracy in our records.
From the point I found out about my friend's problem I've been asking to see my medical records at least twice a year. My family does the same. Maybe it's time we start spreading the word.
I made that move and it was good for me.
And because I was extremely fortunate, I was able to walk away from MQ with no other job at all. I had the entire summer of 2006 to myself with no job demands, and I needed it! After a little re-charging time, I went into TT with both feet, and I love it. There is none of the nonsense that drove me away from MQ after 1/1/06.
You made a good decision to go with KS
I find them to be a very honest company, and hard to find one of those these days. And... by the way I am not a recruiter, or manager or company official, just an MT.
I don't consider $1.25 a report good pay, I made that
in 1985. Now I get $2.25 per report, some count as double, i.e. CT of the abdomen and pelvis, I was left MQ at $1.90 per report a year and a half ago. I have a quota to meet, but am not chained to my PC, can spread it out anyway I want. I'm glad you are doing well, but $1.25 per report is just to cheap.
