with little experience, hungry for the experience in fact, and will accept that. I was inexperienced once, too, would have been glad to work for this or any company to gain the experience, so I am not knocking in anyway the inexperienced MT. God love them, they need someone who is willing to step out and help them become the great MTs of tomorrow.
However, an experienced MT knows the value we bring to the table, and if a company is not willing to pay for that experience, then I say let them know, feel no shame in doing so, speak out. As long as we are willing to be walked on while they pay nothing more than a pittance for the experienced even, then we will never have an effect on what is happening to this profession, and we will affect no change.
I, too, am filing away for the long term MD-IT as a company not worthy of my experience. Certainly, not worthy of my work ethic.
