I am so sick of working at home being treated as a benefit or a perk. What in the world is the difference? The work has to be done, and done correctly, no matter where the computer is located. Many MTs are still verbally abused while working at home by their employer. How many MTs receive threatening e-mails on a daily basis because 1 or 2 MTs are doing a lousy job? Also, MTs and QA do need vacations. Contrary to what some believe, this job is physically and mentally very demanding. How can one physically produce line after line without a few days off here or there and not sustain serious injuries to the hands/wrists and neck/back?
