I worked on an account that nobody wanted and nobody ever worked on but me that I could see at any time when I was working EXCEPT when this one specific dictator was dictating and magically somebody would appear and take just those reports (even if they were newer than other reports - for instance office notes over letters) leaving the crap behind and disappear while I was slogging through the older stuff of the bad dictator. THis happened constantly, constantly, constantly and I would write my liaison and she would ignore me....I finally came to understand DUH it was her!!!! It was a rotten feeling and I had absolutely no respect for her for it. She never managed anything just worked in the middle of the night to suck up her lines and then hound people to work by e-mail during the day but never answered an e-mail question and cherrypicked the easy stuff during the day. They have a bad bunch running that place now and I suspect D. is off on her yacht or something somewhere sunning and raking in the dough...
