PATHETIC. You either don't do MT, are a MTSO or are just hear for the heck of it to stir up trouble and are in no way connected with the MT field.
I agree that someone mowing lawns for 7 bucks an hour is a hard job! Not all jobs that are hard are physically demanding. Although, I disagree about the physically demanding part of being an MT. If you have ever worked 10-15 hours a day sitting in a chair, risked blood clots and all other kinds of health problems you couldn't even think as you do. The guy mowing the laws for 7 b ucks an hour has it tough. But, like the rest of us he is doing what he has to do to pay the bills and put food on the table. My hubby has been in that position in the past. You don't think many of us are swallowing our pride working for companies that outsource when we don't agree with it, taking less money and putting up with things we would not normally put up with just to put food on the table and pay the bills.
If all you think an MT is, is a person who can type BIG words as you call it, then I dare say you do not have a clue what we do and are just here to stir up trouble because you have nothing better to do. Now that truly is sad, pitiful and pathetic.
You are no professional or you could not talk to your fellow MTs as you have. My guess is that you are a newbie just out of school glad to make 5 cpl and work at home and you have put yourself on the great big pedestal. Let me tell you lady, I have done this for 32 years, done every kind of dictator you can possibly do, hired MTs with attitudes such as yours who eventually quit or were fired because they either put themselves up on such a pedestal that nothing anyone did made them happy OR they wound up not being able to do the work, complained about the ESLs or the work types or whatever.
You, my dear, need to be out there mowing the lawns. Maybe then you can sweat some of that anger out of your system. It has to be killing you. You might want to get checked out for underlying diseases. Maybe see a shrink? I hear narcissism is very unbecoming and miserable!
