You are going to have to just resign SM

In Reply to: I've been forgotten again. Oh, well. Too bad these bonuses - another day
yourself to the fact that at the national companies (those who have in-house MTs/account supes/etc.) there will be a number of times where you will be hit in the face with emails like that, pictures posted in a newsletter or on the company's website. The remote MTs are always treated like this. Usually the company makes an effort not to mention the events the in-house staff get to participate in, but they ALWAYS slip up once or twice.

If it were me I would resign.
Shake it off, regroup, and update your resume. There are a few good companies looking for MTs. I had trouble making lines when I worked at YOG years ago. The template was time consuming, and they did not pay for headers/footers. The platform you work on and the type of work you do makes a difference in your line counts (maybe heavy ESLs or difficult work types?). Some of these companies are just not a good fit for some of us.
Did the CEO resign?
I worked there until recently. I just e-mailed a friend who is still there and she didn't mention anything about the CEO resigning.
Resign vs. Fired
If they fire you and you have enough weeks worked, you will get unemployment unless there are other circumstances. If you know you do not qualify for unemployment, then you might as well resign. If you use them as a reference, they can't say anything bad about you anyway, it's illegal.
Fired from Spheris or Resign. HELP
I was told to resign or be fired. I do not know which to do. If I resign, I have no job. If I am fired, then I cannot use Spheris as a reference as my last employer. Also, if I am fired, I do not think I can collect unemployment. Can someone let me know if I resign, can I still get my unemployment. If I am fired, can I get my unemployment.
Thanks
If they've asked you to resign, you shouldn't be using
them as a reference anyway. They obviously won't have anything nice to say about you. Cripes, I couldn't make the line count there either so you're in good company! They kept bouncing me around on all their stupid ESL accounts with a new account every week and different specs to remember. I never had a dictator more than once there except for the worst of the worst as everyone else cherry picked.
I would quit and find another job without using them as a reference. Then again, you can let them fire you and collect unemployment. You need to decide which one to do right now. Find another job ASAP or collect unemployment.
