It was bad enough with everything else but for OSI to expect you to work every single holiday unless it is a regular day off without any type of extra compensation sealed it for me. I would never work for a company with such a policy. Thank goodness for MTStars and these informative boards. I can't imagine being forced to work every holiday without an extra red cent unless you meet impossible standards. From all my research it seems that OSi is an okay company for newbies who are desperate to work but is not a good company for experienced MTs - not just the holiday policy either but a lot of other things such as pompous unqualified people in control who don't have any business having that type of control. I did a lot of research on MTStars and was shocked at some of the things that go on at OSI. I made a lot of notes and I also know some very qualified MTs who have left OSI and moved on to greener pastures. They told me the very same thing that you see on MTStars. I actually think that newbies are all that are left at OSI. Never, never, never would I go to work for OSI. I finally went with another company and am very happy there and I am also able to help in my husband's business more as well. Drastic, drastic change from MedQuist. I see OSI ultimately going down MedQuist's road or even SPI's road and I want no part of it.
