This irritates me to no end
These companies overhire. After taking the time to learn the platform and accounts and docs and probably love her/his new account, the disappointed MT has to call it a loss because of a no-work situation. Hey, companies, hire based on the amount of lines needed per MT per day and give them a chance to work up to it rather than overhiring!!
What irritates me is that when I calculate my
divided by an 80 hour work week, it comes out to below minimum wage for my state. That stinks.

First of all...not everyone knows when they are pregnant. I, myself, didn't find out i was pregnant until I was 22 weeks! yeah u heard me..22 weeks. I had been having very, very irregular menstrual cycles for over a year before i became pregnant and then to top it off, i had NO morning sickness, No breast tenderness and also i did NOT feel my baby moving around. why...because i had an anterior placenta that masked the baby. So yeah i could see that she didn't know she was pregnant right away.
Why is everyone so hostile to pregnant MTs?
I don't understand how a MT getting pregnant is bothering you. No need for such a smart comment.

Don't know what the problem is at Transtech now, but not the same as when I was hired on -- ability to achieve a good line count has become quite impossible. One of the reasons is due to decent dictators going to voice recognition, but there are other reasons.
I don't like the fact that we are BLOCKED from CTRL I from seeing our previous reports and from getting our immediate line counts. We are also not ever permitted to see a list of jobs that we have finished/sent -- not in ExText, nor on our our paystubs -- not even the number of lines on our paystubs, just ** piece work **. Very hard to verify that we are getting paid for every line!

as fast as I could. Twice in two months? What if you never get paid at all? You would be better going with a national while getting your own so that you have benefits and a steady paycheck. Start your own accounts slowly so that you start right.

At 6 cpl, I'm disgusted, at 7 cpl, I'm not impressed, at 8 cpl..maybe...if easy clinic account, at 9 cpl, taking a second look, at 10 cpl, you've got my attention, getting a litte skeptical that it isn't all ESL, 11 cpl, Right!!!!, but 12 cpl...NO FLIPPING WAY.. Keep me posted.

Grammar and typos
I believe that Goldbird posted the same thing about there being no need to correct people on the board for typos or grammatical errors. There's really no need.

Let me tell you one thing. I am not perfect and I did not proof my work in typing this note. I was just typing my fingers away and going from one chat to another. That was very unprofessional of you as an MT, supervisor, owner, etc., for you to throw your HATEFUL comments at me about me making a grammar error about worse versus worst. We all make mistakes. I have seen so many owners make mistakes. We are not perfect humans. We all make mistakes. Grow up!!!! You are acting like a child. I appreciate the Administrator on MT Stars to respect me as an individual and realizing that I make mistakes, but you should not advertise on this chat board to thousands of MTs about how stupid I am about making a grammar error where I forgot to proof my work. Why don't you go through every single one of these responses and start editing every single MTs grammar. I can guarantee you will find just as many errors like you did mine. Please be careful what you say in the future. Thanks again MT Stars administration for looking out for me regardless if I made a typo on my grammar!
