I don't know much about the company itself, but that would be enough for me not to look at it. I also don't think the pay is too great, 7-8 cpl.
and I know a person that comes on here to bash another company because sm
they fired her. Nothing wrong with the company, but they fired her and she is angry and bitter (about most things actually) so she is trying to destroy them. The tone of the bad posts about Keystrokes all sound like 1 or 2 people. I am going to try them.
Name of this company/person needs to be exposed.
So other MTs won't even waste their time.
And I don't have to guess what company..nm

Sorry you feel that way. I guess it is hard to believe that a company sm
can be so great, but they truly are. I have been doing medical transcription for over 30 years now, and they are some of the most caring people I have ever had the pleasure to work with. True, the line rate is not astronomical -- I have definitely made more -- but the benefit package is great, and it is relatively easy to achieve the upper tiers of the incentive. And the bonuses they offer are really nice.
In these days of companies lying to employees, treating them badly, etc., they do indeed sound too good to be true, but so far my experience has only been a positive one. However, I have only been there for 2 months now, so I suppose I am still in the honeymoon phase, but I would not hesitate to recmomend them to anyone.

to just hand me a good one. I am very capable of finding my own jobs. And for your information, I have a good full-time MT job that I have been with for the past 4 years. I printed them to show my manager but she told me that there are few bitter people out there and no one can do anything about them. My manager said that everyone can tell that it is the same few over and over again, for Keystrokes and a few other companies as well. Time to move on Ms. Anon. Have not moved around a lot
I have not jumped around a lot, worked for MRC when they were around years ago, then Medifax and Speris when it was Edix, now work for a small MTSO. Am happy but no benefits, no incentive, get paid the same as a new hire just out of school, kind of depressing.
Ask to be moved to something else...

and kept looking for other employment, but I didn't know if I needed to email her officially quitting or what (how ridiculous after all this time...). I signed an IC contract, so I didn't know if that means I'm bound to anything. I don't know how this works!! Anyway, I'll just let it go and continue moving on - thank you everyone for the replies!!

They recently moved to another office.
One of my friends who was recently hired was about to train, but that did not push through as the network was still quite down and the telephone line changed.
I have been working with them for almost two months now.
At first I had lots of files to work on (thanks to a new account they recently just acquired). Nowadays, they are a-trickling! Maybe I should ask for another account.
