Sounds like you are talking about ExText - I love it. I use my shorthand AND the built-in ESP.

I love it. Expander is built into it, as are site notes, sample reports, splchk. nm

You'll love DRC if you get the job - sm
I work for DRC and it's the best company I've ever worked for as an MT or otherwise. Very accommodating, friendly, knowledgeable staff. Wide variety of accounts. Very nice working programs. Pay and benefits are nice too.
If you like OPs you'll love them.nm

You'll love it there.
Good luck with the interview. I tried a lot of companies before, during, and after them but always stayed because they were the best thing going. Sometimes you think the grass is going to be greener on the other side but it is not. Again, best wishes and I hope your hired and like it there. They have a lot of happy employees there because they treat them so well.
You'll love it
The best company I have ever worked for, hands down. There are lots of great posts about them on this forum.
Thank you. I'll try and look into that platform.
I've heard good things about Transtech in regards to flexibility. Thanks again.
Congrats! You'll love it!
I have been there a year, and it has been the best year ever for me! It's much better than any other MTSO I have ever worked for! I know you'll love it! Welcome!
Welcom aboard, you'll love it!! nm
I love ExText...calm down..it'll be okay
ExText is extremely easy. You've got your demographics screen...easy...and then you're in your document. You know what's great about ExText? It's so easy to search for past reports by provider, by patient, by MT. It's very straight forward and a very easy system to learn in my opinion. You get past the demo screen, finish the document, ctrl-N, it spellchecks, you're done. Voila!
GOOD MOVE!!! You'll love it!!
Keep in touch when you get on board!!
:) tf
Awesome choice! You'll love it here!
I have been with KS a little over a year and love it! Congrats and good luck!
I second Escription. It's the easiest platform you'll ever try. There is no VPN to log into, n
extra screens. You just log on the system, hit a button to get your job, type it and hit the upload and it is gone. Nothing else to do. I have used too many systems where you have to log into multiple screens etc.. before you can even get started. To me, Escription is way more productive. You will not have a lot of time wasted. JMO.
maybe you'll get on a decent platform/account
nm
I love ExText, others don't. It'll eat a report once in a while, but otherwise it's easy to

Good luck to you in your new posiiton -- I'm sure you'll love MDI. :-) nm
if easy platform and few ESLs, you'll do okay with same doctors daily.

LOVE the platform!
I love ExText! It's one of my favorite platforms. I have honestly never had any problems with it before.
I love the ES platform....
Some of the dictators on my account are so dang great, at times I just put the speed all the way up and can just listen through and upload it...AMAZING platform with the right dictators!
too many platform probs, lost lines, IT support is virtually nonexistent, I'll be saying
x
I LOVE the platform, the rest is what I do not like
I second that!!
Maybe they are like me, love the platform, but can't make money with it
xx
Love ExText platform but not sure about companies as I'm an IC. nm

Love my platform...hate the company
I currently work for DSG and love DocQscribe.
Which platform are you referring to? They have several. I LOVE mine!!! nm
Love new job, people, platform etc. but BORED (sm)
The accounts I have are under 200 beds, hardly any ops and those are most Csections, EGD, colonoscopies. Hardly even a chole or appy. New enough I don't want to really complain to my supervisor. Thinking about picking up PT job just to keep my skills up in OP department. Used to working 500 to 800 bed hospitals with lots of exciting ops. Should I shut up and be glad I like the comany?
I love the platform and make good $ on it. SM
I do believe it has to do with the accounts though. I've used it for 4 hospitals and have made great money, both VR and straight typing. VR gives me more than double the lines of typing but I do think it is an acquired skill. Learn the shortcuts and use them. It is also only as good as the team training the VR.
On the other hand I've used it on a clinic account and the lines were just not coming in like they do in AC. A very heavy, 90%, ESL verbatim account and I lasted all of 2 weeks on that account.
I'd say I do about 90% VR and 10% straight typing and all in all I'm impressed with the accuracy of the VR.
I am in training - 27 years experience. Love the platform! nm

I love the WMX platform. Extremely user friendly and fast. SM
I definitely do not have to enter a bunch of demographics, which is really a plus for me. I love it here, going on one year now!
I currently work at JLG and love it. Great, user friendly platform.
They leave you alone to type. Pay on time, never late. Pretty well organized and good communication. And they do not offshore! I be sticking around.
I agree. I am only part time so far, but I love it. The platform is easy, and sm
the people are great. I feel very fortunate to have stumbled onto them.
I use Stedman's also
nm
I love it here; easy platform, plenty of work, great communication

I would LOVE to hear opinions on Enterprise platform for Webmedx&for Shorthand.See msg.
Thanks so much! Does anyone know if Instant Text will work with Enterprise also. The recruiter who offered me a job was fuzzy on that. Any webmedx employees who would like to E-mail me opinions, etc., I would deeply appreciate it.
Has anyone added Stedman's to the DQS or

STEDMAN'S 2004 PLUS -HELP
Hello, I need some help loading this program onto windows xp, MS word 2000. The dictionary demo loads and works, but I can't find the spellchecker??? Any suggestions, thanks.
Stedman is part of that..
Same girl who screwed people around here with lies is part of that company, not to mention a really lousy QA person who was a teacher's pet from a low-line online school. Better check it out.
Been there 9 months and LOVE it!!! Plenty of work, good platform, great staff.
I finally found a home.
It has a dictionary, just not Stedman's. You will need to add some entries as you go along, but
overall, it catches the incorrect spelling of words, it just doesn't give a lot of suggestions to correct spellings. That slows me down a bit as I rely on my Stedman's and have for many many years.
Bayscribe and Stedman's spellchecker
Does anyone know if you can use the Stedman's spellchecker with Bayscribe?
Stedman's and Dorland's are great, but
if the BOS says do it one way and it differs from them, and the client and/or MTSO uses BOS, you can't use what they say.
Dorland's makes a spellchecker? Thought just Stedman's
s
I use Stedman's Orthopedic and Rehab Words book..
and Google is also a good research tool :)
I'll love to know who you work for. I also work every weekend with no extra pay.
It'd be nice to get paid for all the nights and weekends I work.
I know. They THINK they have built in their
seniority benefit in their PTO plan. Ahhemmm. Hahahaha
No. They have one built in. But I think sm
if you speak with tech support they might (don't quote me on it) be able to convert it for you. Nothing is windows based and no internet. You build your shortcuts from scratch.
yes, they have their own built in...sm
spellcheckers AND autocorrect functions. Some (including me) prefer Chartscript, others prefer Bayscribe. Since Chartscript uses Word, I was able to still add my updated Stedman's medical spellchecker program. Bayscribe does not use Word.
Does Bayscribe have a built-in
medical dictionary?
Yes, purchase (or have one built)
Yes, I would like to purchase one or if it is more cost effective to have on built I would like to do that. The platform that I use now is VERY expensive. If some knows of a company that can build one for me I would appreciate the info.
Use the ESP expander built in - you put all your own in.
nm
They are being built in Mobile, AL
So at least the jobs will be here.
