And it's another one of those foreseeable future kind of things, to the best of my knowledge.... We were told that the eventual plan will be to switch the clients/accounts over, but they don't appear to be being pushed to switch. Yet. One--just one--of the DEP accounts decided recently to switch to Beyond-whatchamacallit, and my original supervisor went with it, so she's now learning that platform so she can support the account that went. (It was also, I think, the smallest account on the DEP platform, so probably the fewest MTs were affected by the change.)
Not quite apropos to the current discussion, we were told at the time of the merger that a lot of the same people actually worked on development of both DEP and Beyond-whatsis, so they are supposedly actually similar. I have no inside knowledge of that since I have never even seen the Beyond-thingy.
