While we may choose to allow ourselves to be exploited, for various reasons, such as not being able to find anything else that can be done from home, it IS exploitation, nonetheless. So, the victim mentality is a choice, while the exploitation still exists. IMHO, women with low self-esteem are more apt to accept this type of victimization.
