I worked for a lady's service who was bought out by Transcend
a few years ago and they offered her a position in the home office. She sold, had the job for a few months and then she was terminated. I know for a fact that Transcend said in a paper article in the Atlanta Journal and Constitution that they outsourced because could not find enough American MTs to do the work. Now what I find surprising is how many complain on here about sitting and waking for work for Transcend. Wonder how that happens?
Completely untrue statement! Medware is a great company.
na
I wish I knew where you worked.
I realize you can't say on here. I really, really hope the work picks up soon for my job. Can get a bit overwhelming at times (not having work).
Does your company advertise for employees on the Looking For Jobs board? Hope so.
I knew one QA person who worked FT for
THREE companies during the same hours. I can't do but ONE job. If I do QA correctly, I have to give feedback, do 100% listen, and still make quota. I never even thought of working more than one QA job at a time, but I have since heard of TWO more people who were working two companies full-time at the same time.
Unbelievable!
However, I do not believe these people are who are running the profession into the potty. Again, I believe that the MTSOs are using whatever excuse. If there are a few QA doing more than one FT job, there sure are not that many. Most could not keep their job if they did.
I would not do QA by the line, but I do enough in QA that no one would doubt that I pull my weight.
Poster said she left there at least 4 years ago. did not say she knew what was going on now.

? wow, I've been here 8+years and never ONCE heard it. Wish i knew who your sm
STM was but we can't name names here.
Yes, it happened to me, years ago. I knew it was WRONG!!!
probably a certain portion are new, believe it and sign up for their MT class
Blind leading the blind, but here goes...
At the very top, where it says, file, then edit, there will be view. Click on view. Click on toolbar. Play around with adding and deleting toolbars until you get the one(s) you want.
Good luck!
this may be the blind leading the blind, but...
I think it is control F3, then I think what you want is under local configuration. How quickly we forget this stuff, geez!!
It was for me. I knew the system already and have 17 years experience in op notes. sm
I spent years as an IC, which means zero training, so I pick things up quickly. I would be bored with more than an hour of training. I like to jump in and start producing!
Yeah I had applied for the Escription account (before I knew the insulting pay rate) with years of
experience and no one bothered to get back to me. Once they told me what they paid, I would have never accepted anyway, but I find it odd that they would not pursue someone with years of experience. I guess they knew there would be no one I would accept their pay. Apparently, they are hoping some desperate people apply, which is NOT me but best wishes to them.
I worked for a temp agency for 3 years..LOVED it. Just worked. No counts, no hassels, GREAT pay..
No benefits at the time. I even learned pathology while temping (8 months on that assigment). I loved the variety, the ability to say I'm not available such and such time. I'd do it again in a heartbeat if I didn't need benefits.
I worked on site for many years. I've been doing this for 10 years... sm
I've worked on site, at home, for small MTSOs, for nationals, for hospitals. I've been paid per line, per minute, and per hour. I've been an MT and a QA. I have ALWAYS worked weekends and ALWAYS worked nights for the shift differential because MTs can't survive on 6 or 7 cents a line. At least I can't and I type 105 wpm.
I've BEEN dedicated from day 1, sister, so you are barking up the wrong tree.
I have been with Medware for 2 years
They have been a good company to work for. I like my account and the pay is direct deposit every other Friday. That was the biggest thing for me, my previous service paid by check and it was always late. I like my team leader and have steady work. I also use their insurance, it is United and I have no problem finding a doctor in my area. All said, I have enjoyed everyone at Medware and plan to stay with them. Hope that helps, good luck to you.
I have been with Medware for 2 years
They have been a good company to work for, I like their system and find it productive. My team leader is very nice. I was looking for something steady and a stable company and especially direct deposit. Found it all with Medware. Give them a call and ask questions yourself.
I have been with Medware for 2 years
They are very nice people. From the time I started in training up to today I have no complaints. The recruiter responded and answered my questions. HR send me all of my paperwork and I received my equipment in 4 days. They have a person who calls you and helps you get your software and pedal installed right the first time. My trainer was professional and very helpful, providing samples and account specifics. My pay arrives by direct deposit every Friday (big change from my past service). I have an agreed upon shift that is best for me and best for my account. They have asked for additional help the past few months and honestly, it's better to be busy than looking for work. All in all I am happy and hope to stay with Medware for a long time so I can watch my Medware 401K grow. Hope that helps, I know some do not like to commit to a certain shift but I have found them to be quite accomodating in that respect.
I have been with Medware for 2 years
They are a very good company to work for. I like my team leader, their system is easy to learn and productive. I have the health insurance plan and found it to be more than adequate in my area, they use United Healthcare. Always have work and always paid on time, every other Friday by direct deposit. I plan to stay with Medware for a long time. Hope that helps.
I have been with Medware for 2 years
I have the individual insurance and it is $17/week, sorry I can't help you with the family price. Maybe just call the office. I work 36 hours per week and get about 12000 lines in each pay, which is every other Friday. I was looking for steady work, insurance and direct deposit. Previously I was paid by mail, hated that. I hope some of this helps, the people at Medware are very, very nice and I have been quite happy. Good luck to you.
I have been with Medware for 2 years
They are an excellent company. Very good support, good accounts and the people their are really nice. My insurance is $17/week, I have direct deposit and paid days off/sick time. I am so happy I went with them. It has been a pleasant 2 years. Good luck to you.
I have been with Medware for 2 years
They have a software system that is easy to use and also they now use EXText software too. I have had plenty of work, my team leader is very nice and the healthcare insurance is affordable, $17 per week. They use United Healthcare. Direct deposit every other Friday is a big change from where I came from and the people at Medware really seem to care. I have enjoyed working for them. It is shift work but they are flexible and you can work with your team leader to get a schedule that fits. Hope that helps, good luck to you.
I have been with Medware for 2 years
They are a great company, everybody that I have ever associated with is very professional. I always have work, direct deposit every other Friday is a HUGE plus from where I worked previously. The healthcare plan is good and at $17/week it is affordable. Medware has been, and still is, the best service I have ever worked for, hands down. I can see why they received the employer of the year award----twice!
I have been with Medware for 2 years
I started 2 years ago at Medware and have been very happy. My team leader is very supportive and there is always work. The insurance (United Healthcare) is only $17 per week, and I needed some kind of coverage. The plan is a good one and includes a prescription card. Pay dates are every other Friday and it is direct deposit. I also enjoy the paid vacation days now that I have my first year behind me. They are a good service to work for, I have been quite happy. Good luck to you.
I have never worked for Medware.
I have never worked for Medware. What they have in common is ExText and are PSPs for Dictaphone. Medware does not fund anyone and TTS is a totally independent company. I know many of the old crew who were at Medware and they had a great crew and probably will again some day if their heart is truly in it. When people move on they hopefully weight their options and make the best decision they can for themselves. I have had the summer of enlightenment with this industry and having a very hard time maintaining my own good humor about it, frankly. I do know this .. there are still great companies out there who keep a low profile and just get it done. They don't go for the glitz and have to be the biggest and the best and toot their own horns. They just do it the best way they can each and every day .. and that is really what it should be all about each day, the safety of the patient and having a life outside of work that you can call your own.
2 years at Medware - love it
x
You stayed with Medware for 3 years and now you
state you didn't stay with them very long. What is it? I think we can all read between these lines, I know I can.
I worked for Medware in the past, and
at first it was great! They were advertising for ER which was what I wanted, but when I applied they said no ER so I was given Acute Care. The first few months were great. I was in hog heaven. Then overnight things changed and I had nothing but the worst ESLs and my pay went downhill big time!! I tried to get things resolved, so no luck. Otherwise it was great. Easy platform, good communication, etc. If you are lucky enough to get and KEEP good accounts, then it is great!
Anyone worked for both Medware and Precyse?
nm
Medware of TransHealth? Anyone worked for both?
nm
Have worked for Medware and now at Precyse.(sm)
Medware turned out to be a really bad place to work, changes taking place there all the time and NOT good ones. I am very pleased with everything at Precyse. Great benefits. Great platform. Great people at Precyse, love working with them.
When I trained/worked for Medware,
more than 2 hours because the trainer like to gab and not necessarily keep on track with the training. So, no guarantee that you will be finished.
I was not WRONG. I worked for Medware, so I know how they operate.
I did not receive a software bundle beyond that which was built into the system. I did NOT receive a standalone version or disk of any software. I AM NOT WRONG. I also could care less if you're happy or not, because your attitude certainly is not that of a happy person. So go back to your offshoring, lying company and stop trying to get the last word in when YOU are INCORRECT on ALL COUNTS.
Has anyone worked with Linda Kelley of TTS/Medware & can you tell me about your experience, please?
Has anyone worked with Linda Kelley of TTS/Medware, and can you please tell me about your experience?? THANKS SO VERY MUCH, your time is greatly appreciated!!!
I also know Spheris would fire you if they knew you worked for MQ. That is a BIG NO with Spheris!
nm
Medware has been paying $14 for years, No cost of living increases there! nm

What line rate does Medware pay for 28 years experience but no CMT status for an employee, also
is the pay higher for IC?
I have worked for MDI for 2 years and I
have never gotten a raise. Production incentives????? Never. If you are looking for all the perks, you'd better look somewhere else.
Worked at OSi for over 2 years and they have never
I worked for them about 3 years ago
The people were real sweet, but I couldn't pay my bills. They have a funny pay scale and it changes after 3 months. Wish you luck.
I have worked there for 2+ years sm
and am happy with the company. They supply your computer for free, they help with education, everyone is helpful. There was a slow time for a few months, but it has picked up now. MT work always has slow times from time to time. They have hospital accounts that one can work on if one runs out of work, which they pay more for MTs that can work acute care accounts as well as CMTs.
I have worked for them for 2 years and like it.
They have multiple platforms to work on. They have some difficult accounts, but no more than any other company I have worked for. There is always work available as you have secondary accounts and they provide a list of accounts that need extra help daily. Benefits are good, pay is NEVER late, direct deposit.
I worked for them about 2 years ago as IC sm
and they were really nice people to work for. Paid on time and very flexible, too.
I worked for them a few years ago.
I got my feet wet working for them, and I gained some valuable experience. However, I found that they constantly sent updated notes/templates on how their docs wanted files formatted. This got to be very time consuming after a while as this seemed to be a weekly occurence. Of course, that was a few year ago, so they might have come up with a better system. I also found their pay to be on the low end, and their raises, which you had to put in for, weren't all that great.
I worked for them 3-4 years ago and they were
very, very nice. At the time, it was strictly IC status. Don't know what they pay now but I got 7 cents a line. They had radiology, acute care, ER, clinic notes and cardiology. Pay was always on time. Platform was nice, all done over the internet, use your own PC. Never had problems and tech support was great. I would have stayed but needed fulltime with benefits.
I worked there two years ago
And at that time they still gave you all the equipment and paid for down time if you documented it correctly.
I had an okay experience at Transolutions. The people were really nice. What they said in the other threads about receiving huge thick binders on each account is true though, and I did run out of work a few times but they paid me for it.
I worked for her years ago
and in my many years before and many years since, I have never had a worse experience. Pay was by the gross line and I got my money, but I have never known anyone to be as nasty and mean as this person was to me. This is just my experience, but IMO, you would be wise to avoid any dealings with this company.
Probably should have said, I worked for them about 4 years ago, so they may pay a little better now.
x
I think that's sad. I worked there about 2 years ago and liked it. nm
nm
I have worked there for over 3 years and I'm...
Great people to work for. Pay is very dependable. Work is very consistent. Most of the time there is more work than you can handle. My paycheck is very consistently in the same price range unless I take days off. Great QA people. They work with your schedule. I honestly do not have any complaints about them. I really like working for them.
I have worked as IC for 10 years
and never got - even with had my own hospital accounts - thing is - so many people have access to the report - who can prove what? I also hear terribly expensive unless you get through AAMT
It has been about 5 years since I worked there so
things may be different, but account was 85 to 90% Indian dictators and I had to re-record. Poor dictators and poor quality dictation is a horrible combination. I can't remember what the pay rate was, but it wasn't near enough. They would also call me up to 6 times a day, sometimes just to chat, other times they were just so disorganized it took that many calls to get all the info. I don't remember the name of the platform, but it was not user friendly at all. I worked there less than a month I think.
I worked for them years ago and it took several..sm
phone calls to get my first paycheck. Needless to say, I immediately quit. I don't know if they are different now or not but I would be cautious.
