They are very flexible with your schedule and they pay on time. Emdat is easy to learn. I was diagnosed with a life-threatening illness and they worked with me. They assured me I would not lose my job. I got on when I could, and for that I am eternally grateful. I have since left but I know if I called and asked for some work, they wouldn't have a problem. :-)

Great pay rate on a 55 ccl, great lady to work for and work is not tough. sm
It is all IC work, although you still are expected to give a schedule if you are doing stat coverage. Only major drawback is the big wait for your first check -- almost a month from the time of your first invoice.
Good luck!
Bosses
As an IC, I am my own boss. That may be where your problems arise.

Hi, Thanks for your input. I did get a chance to read it before the deletion. I am searching again __________. I really wish I could find a place, where the pay is decent, with benefits, enough work and where the staff responds to account related questions. I am so tired of testing, thinking I have found the perfect place and then....................... Sorry just needed to vent a little.
Have a good Day!
Now our ILPs can be our bosses!!
Search the archives here, nothing but grim reaper news. This is an Indian company who wants to control it all in India.
I am going to thank my bosses for my paycheck sm
I work for TT and another, PT IC job so I am not totally sunk with taxes. One way and another, I have managed to put the 2 schedules together and survive, both my energy and my time. TT is sending out a thank you gift check. My other boss called this morning to ask if I had gotten my card because I had not thanked her for it, and she gave me credit for having the good manners to say thank you. No, I have not been to the post office to pick up my mail, but today for sure.
I told her she didn't have to do that, but that I really appreciate it. She said that THEY appreciate ME, and this was a pleasure to do for me. WOW.
I really, truly feel that this has been the best year of my MT career. I have cleared $40K and I have not worked myself sick as I have in the past. I have been able to pay every single bill and on time. I could have asked for TT to pay part of my internet, but I have not bothered because of the IC situation and my taxes. I have benefits through them and the security of knowing that if my appendix were to rupture, or my gallbladder go gangrenous, I am covered for that whereas I used to worry a lot. I have eaten anything I wanted to all year, plenty of good, fresh vegetables that have kept my energy up and my weight down. I have had new items of clothing, but my tastes are not for high-priced things.
I sit here today in a warm house when it is below zero outside. My hands have typed for that. I have warm, newer clothing including some new heavy socks for my ever cold feet. My hands have typed for that. My frig is reasonably well stocked and my pantry is full. My hands have typed for that. The dog's cookie jar is full of treats and she is a happy little thing. My hands have typed for that. I was able to be generous with children this Christmas and with a dear friend in need. My hands have typed for that.
I count myself very very blessed. I am busy with MT and QA work, and keeping my house by myself, which was an adjustment after my wonderful daughter left for college. I am busy with a handful of wonderful, loving and caring friends. I am so busy (and frankly happy) to sit and complain about what I don't have.
I know that many of us are going through some very hard times. We are not different from other industries in that way. I look at some of you talk about eating out for entire weekends, or buying expensive gifts for your families at Christmas. I listen to complaints about the price of food and whining about the price of Triscuits, when that isn't food. I wonder where your heads are at. I wonder what your priorities are. I wonder why more people don't have an attitude of gratitude. I had to find that attitude and keep a firm grip on it. Guess what? I had more and more to be grateful for!
So glad you got paid!! If the owners and bosses come here
to read what is being said...well... I think that is sad. I get a picture of them sitting at their desks laughing about how difficult they can make our lives just on a whim. Maybe I am wrong but why did they wait until you were at your wits end over this? Sad stuff.
You are pathetic! I have a great life, loving family, work for a great company.
You might want to fix that.
You really don't have to shout (angry person), but yes you are wrong!!
That is my last word to you!
I will add that getting a great pay check every other Friday from Medware really puts a huge smile on my face.
YOG - Lots of work, great office staff, great money. NM

MTSOs are the bosses; MTs are the employees. There is no friendship involved. nm

It's a great company -- lots of work and great pay. sm
Web site is www.mditrans.net. If you need anymore info, feel free to ask.
Great people to work for, but I had to leave due to lack of work. Hopefully that has changed. SM
Most of us who do not live in California had to go IC. When I was there, they did not have statutory status, although they told me they did when they hired me. Their pay for VR is VERY low, not a living wage. Many of the folks in the office are ex-YOG and great to work for/with. Good luck.
1200 lines daily is great if you have the work, personally, I never had enough work so
I left and have NEVER been sorry!
Webmedx fits that bill, great company, great benefits, great pay and always on time. NM
,
Great place to work. LOTs of work and (sm)
as the other poster noted, somewhat flexible. Make your lines and they pretty much leave you be. Communication is great, QA is great. The platform is extremely easy. There's plenty of work to go around and then some.
Great company, great boss, great account!!!nm

10 cpl? That's great. And I'd rather have too much work...sm
than to run out of work. I'd gladly work weekends to make 10 CPL.
It's great you are doing so well. Are you doing all work
nm
I work there now and they are great. sm
Pay is always accurate, on time thru direct deposit. Emdat is a little strange to get used to, but not that bad. I think they'd like 300 lines a day minimum, but you need to check on that. Its 150 LPH required though. Hours are flexible as long as you tell them what you want and stick to it. They are wonderful ladies and I'd never leave if I didn't have to due to tax issues in my state. Give them a try.
And they are GREAT to work for! nm

No, she is GREAT to work for...sm
GREAT dictators, but just not enough work, unfortunately.
Great place to work!
I came to Phoenix after having worked at the 2 large nationals over the past 4 years. I'm SO glad! The do not pay for spaces but the headers/footers more than make up for that. The work is steady, same account (or accounts) and never runs out. The staff are great to work with, helpful and very thoughtful. Great place to work!
Great company to work for...
Spheris is a terrific company to work for. They NEVER run out of work. They are extremely helpful. You use their computer set up. Direct deposit. Shifts you want. Need I say more? Oh, yes, the people there are terrific.
Ex-Spheris employee - hope to go back some day.
GREAT company to work for.
Hi, I have been an employee with them for almost one year. I have NEVER had a late pay day, it is always on time. The work is plentiful. In fact, for several months they have been BEGGING for extra help to stay in the TAT. They do have some difficult accounts, many that are ESL dictators, but once you get them - you get them - and they become like second nature to you. They have employee status if you make a certain amount of lines every two weeks or you can be IC. They are very thoughtful and nice people. I don't believe they offshore, not 100% sure though. I am happy to have found my home after two other internet company let-downs. Hope this help. But, really, you cannot go wrong with FutureNet. And, their platform is the best! Easy to work without putting in a lot of time for the demographics, etc.
Great place to work
Wonderful people, great software, sound quality excellent, benefits affordable, don't really noticed the ESLs, maybe because I'm used to them, or maybe depends on the account. Pay average.
Great company to work for!
I have worked for them for over six years and they are a wonderful organization to work for - very friendly, excellent benefits and pay, and flexible schedules. You are paid every two weeks on time, like clockwork. I would highly recommend them!
They are a great group to work with and
if you are a good MT, very accommodating. Good Luck!
anyone else think this is a great company to work for?
From what i can see on the previous discussions, this is a great company to work for sounds like. Does anyone working for them right now think so?
Both are great companies to work for.
xx
Great company to work for. nm

Great if you want to work for free!
great company to work for
They do not provide equipment but Dell has excellent deals going on plus financing. You can get a pedal for around $50. Line rates vary dependent upon shift plus bonus quarterly.
The people are great to work with
and the pay is good and on time. I do find the work isn't as steady as I'd like though, but hey, that's the MT business, right?
Great if you like to work weekends
with no chance of getting time off - seems once you are in a schedule that is where they keep you.
They are a great company to work for. sm
Pay is good and ALWAYS on time. Have been with them for 1-1/2-years and NEVER has it been late or wrong. They have heavy ESL load but for the most part they are good dictators with the exception of a few, just like anywhere else though. Their QA is okay - one or two are not that nice but for the most part QA is good. Workflow people are great! Supervisors are great! Had, months back, problems with work running out but not it is fine and has been. Overall rating: GREAT company!
Great company to work for
I've been there close to a year. Some of my acct's have a lot of ESL (but they are not bad) and some don't. Support is good. ExText is a good platform. It took me awhile to get my lines, but after a few months, I got in the groove. Works with Shorthand. Don't know their pay range. I've heard different things. They recently changed their incentive schedule, and it is a lot easier to attain. New accounts coming on board soon.
Great company to work for....
Anyone looking for a good company....apply at Diskriter they are a great company to work for.
Great place to work
This is Documed in New Jersey that I am talking about. I have said this before on MT Stars, but I absolutely love this company. Been with them for almost 2 years and I can't say enough good things about them. The management is fantastic. The office staff is wonderful. They are very helpful with any problems you may have. Pay has never been late. Hope this helps.
They are a great place to work..sm
I have been there nearly 4 years now. The staff is very professional and accommodating. My schedule is flexible though there is a 24-hour TAT, but you can work the hours you want for the most part, at least on my account. Pay is always on time, the platform easy, and I rarely hear from QA. So all things considered, I would certainly encourage you to give them a try!
They are a great company to work for....sm
I have been with them for about 9 months. They ALWAYS pay early or right on the day. They always answer your e-mails, IMs, etc. QA is very good. They do not dock for errors, blanks, questions sent to QA, etc. Work was slow around the holidays but other than that there is plenty of work. I would recommend them. Their platform is very easy (best I've ever used). Good luck!!
Great place to work
I have been there for about 4 months. I love it there. Everybody there is great. I have an awesome account as well as a backup account. I plan on staying there for a long time. I don't know if they are currently hiring or not. Good luck!
I work for TTS and I love it! Everyone is great and
I have a name and everyone there knows it and calls me by my first name. Pay is always on time. Pay rate is a little lowish, but there is a ton of work and it is definitely worth being a real person again. I came from OSi and I just cannot believe the difference!
GREAT place to work
I have worked for MANY companies, and this is the best one I have come across, HANDS DOWN!!!! You are actually treated like a PERSON. The communication there is GREAT! It might not be the biggest, but I believe it's the BEST! : - )
Great benefits don't help if the work isn't there.
It's been a while and maybe they've gotten better. The recruiter at the time was less than above-board with me. Try to find current employees to talk to.
I do...It's a great place to work...SM
Everyone is very nice and helpful and there is never a shortage of work!
AccuStat EMR- great to work for!
I have been with them for 6 years and they have bent over backwards to keep me (and at least 15 other MTs that I keep in touch with daily) happy. In this business work slows at times so they move things around to keep us all busy! I have no complaints about them but I can say that if you see posts that are bad on here about them, they are usually from people that were fired (I found out through talking to the people who posted the comments). I think if you have nothing nice to say, dont say anything at all!
Keystrokes is great to work for...
tons of work, great leads, benefits and great pay...I believe they just started using DocuqScribe recently though because I came from a company that used DocuqScribe and an account using that was not offered at the time...send in your resumes girls!!!
Yes they are hiring and great to work for
I work for a great company and NOT BOS
In my experience, I have found to type verbatim. Not all companies follow BOS guidelines.
It is frustrating for me to see ads when I do not have enough work. However, they are great sm
people to work with, and I have been happy for the most part. They use Wordscript, which is a Word-based platform and very easy to use. Pay periods end the 15th and the last of the month, paid by direct deposit. There is no set pay day, but generally I am paid within a week to 10 days of the end of the pay period.
Good luck with whatever you decide.
That's a great company you work for. I
sure would take advantage of it if I had the chance. I'm terrible in trying to make macros. I keep trying, but they never work....and to think I took programming years ago and updated my skills 20 years ago, so you would think I could get the hang of it.
Honestly, MQ is a great place to work!
I did work for Spheris before they were called EDIX, and I've worked for a couple of other nationals and MQ is by far the best! The grass isn't greener on the other side, believe me. MQ is the most advanced technilogically. If you don't want to feel like you are going backwards with technology, go give MQ a try. I work out of the Dallas office and the communication with my supervisor, other supervisors, upper management, other co-workers...is EXCELLENT. I love it. I would say at least give it a try before listening and taking the advice of anyone reporting a bad experience. All offices are not the same.
