You can use a tool that Emdat has written to convert your Word Autocorrect to InScribe. It can be downloaded from http://www.emdat.com/software, under Support. Also, feel free to call the helpdesk with such questions as well at 630-743-0500.

ZyloMed uses Emdat. They were hiring not long ago for Radiation Oncology accounts. Check MTjobs.com to see if they still have their ad on there. Feel free to email me if you need to know anything else.
Is that Emdat InScribe? How do you feel about
I was thinking of going with a company that uses InScribe, and I've gone through a mess with Emdat's techs getting my autocorrect expansions transferred over (since the import utility didn't work for me, and it would be a make or break for me if I would have to re-enter all my expansions), but that is finally done, actually.
However, I'm still not sure if I think I would like working in InScribe. It seems fairly user-friendly, but just in terms of the look of it, not sure how much I could stand it, you know?
Can anyone tell me companies that use Emdat Inscribe?
I would like to apply to those companies as I am very familiar with this software and love it, but I need a new job! Thanks!
Please note this is Emdat Inscribe--sm
and Inscribe is a dog. You cannot make lines on it easily and it generally sux. hated it.
Lee Perfect/Inscribe Emdat system
I was recently hired by Lee Perfect Transcription who utilizes the Inscribe Emdat platform. I am having a very difficult time trying to get used to working the foot pedal. When I am transcribing and I lift my foot off the pedal the dictation does not stop, just keeps going. I have to almost stomp on it to get it to stop. Is this just my foot pedal, or is there another way to get it to stop just when you lift your foot up and it automatically stops like on other platforms. I sure would appreciate any help regarding this. Thanks so much.
The account I work on is on Emdat Inscribe
good company.
Phoenix Medcom/Emdat Inscribe
Would like to hear from current or past transcriptionists who have worked using the Emdat Inscribe platform. Is it really as bad as everyone says it is? If so, exactly what makes it that way? Hard to learn, unable to get good production...would like to hear your experience and how long it took you to produce good line counts. Thank you so much for your help.
What companies work with Bayscribe, Emdat and Inscribe?
Also MedRemote? I have worked with all of these platforms and they are very nice, just wondering who uses these. TIA!
Does the Emdat platform use Word or is it Word-based? nm

Is Emdat word-based?

I have mine in autocorrect as yo. Autocorrect with
expand the abbreviation after a hyphen...so if I type 41-yo it auto expands to 41-year-old
Neither. You can copy into Word but cannot copy back into Emdat.

Hired by Emdat or using Emdat software?
I was of the impression that Emdat was software, not a transcription company. Were you hired by Emdat to do transcription for Emdat customers? Or is the company for whom you work just using the Emdat software? Thank you.
I just use my autocorrect. nm

Can you use AutoCorrect in VR mode?
nm
Not autocorrect. I know those work. How did you
They've never worked for me in BT and I was told autotext can't be converted in BT.
It comes with Shorthand or use autocorrect.
I like the system
AutoCorrect should be the least of your problems
You will spend most of your time doing data entry which you won't be paid for. Amphion uses Dictaphone EXtext which has it own Expander program called ESP. AutoCorrect is not compatible with it. However the bigger problem is you will have to add all the patient data if you have an account that doesn't interface with the facility and most of the time newbies are stuck with this account. You will do a lot of busy work and won't be paid for it. Wish you a lot of luck though but Amphion didn't work for me.
I personally think Autocorrect is as good as anything.
I don't even bother with Shorthand
AutoCorrect is not compatible with Extext ESP
.
re: AutoCorrect/Instant Text
I, too, have used AutoCorrect exclusively for the last 2 years and have been able to do very well on my line counts; however, after some recent research into Instant Text I ordered it (and actually just received today). While I have not had time to use it yet, I really like the fact that it has WAY more capability than AutoCorrect. I can't wait to experiment with it and believe it will prove to be a worthy investment when I learn all of its possible functions.
Do you have an Autocorrect feature? You could delete what's

How do you put this in AutoCorrect? Wouldn't shorthand work the same way?
nm
Faster, easier, and more reliable than Autocorrect.

I use AutoCorrect/AutoText and find it works just as well as anything else I ever used. My 2 c.

chartscript and importing autocorrect entries
Can someone tell me how (if even possible) to import my autocorrect entries from MS WORD to the chartscript expander? I am using ShortHand in there now and it is driving me CRAZY as 90% of the time it partially expands the words.. Guess I could import the entries from shorthand if that is easier…
The platform is Word. Their program works with Word but does not change how Word works. nm
The benefits just changed the first part of this month. I don't have them but I remember them being reasonabl for a single person. Family and spouse was not reasonable in any way (in my opinion).
UST used to have software that didn't allow expanders of any kind, inc. AutoCorrect. Ask if you

ExText is integrated with Word. Auto correct is a part of Word.
ExText is a Word based platform. When the page opens for you to type the document it will be just like you are typing in MS Word.

Their program works with Word and does not change how Word functions. sm
You use your own expander. Overall I feel it is user friendly and I like it.

Pros and cons please.
In his ad, he's asking for Word Perfect, not Word, if that matters. nm

The platform is not Word, but it is Word-based. I
had little Word experience and the recruiter told me to try to find a book to learn the basics of Word as their program is Word-based.
Now I wish they would just call me back......no word no word and
What is up with these MT companies that advertise. They don't even answer. I have a great resume, tons of experience. I'm confused.
InScribe
Don't know if this will help, but EMDAT InScribe is the name of the softwear program that is used by Allegiant Transcription.
Inscribe, LLC
Thank you for the response! Your info is very much appreciated!

Does anyone have any info on this company based out of Kentucky? TIA!

Any info on this company, the good/bad?
Inscribe
Has anyone heard of a company called Inscribe located in Florida. They have a job ad on another board. I did a search here and came up with nothing.
Inscribe
A company has offered me a position using inscribe, how is this program. I know you can use function keys to navigate but I think that would be a pain.... Just wanting some honest opinions on this program before I sink $$ in a foot pedal, etc.
Inscribe
I work for Inscribe. I think it is a very good company to work for.
InScribe
Does or has anyone worked for InScribe and what are your thoughts on the company? I am thinking of contacting them and don't want to make a mistake or waste my time.
Thanks,
Amy
