Why do my posts on the main board keep getting deleted?

All I asked was if there is a company out there with a platform like Precyse - where you can look up the old reports by doctor, or by patient. What is so wrong with that?

Why do my posts keep getting deleted?
If you are going to delete them, could you at least let me know? I truly don't understand why you are deleting them. I asked a simple question about what companies pay on a weekly basis. Is there something wrong with that? I assume thye were not moved because I can't find it anywhere and I posted it twice. How about an explanation or something?

Several posts have been deleted mainly due to the naming of individuals at companies. DO NOT USE IDENTIFYING INFORMATION such as names or accounts.
As well, language was the cause for a post removed. See the posting policy at the top of the Company board.

They were NOT talking about the resumes being fake. Some earlier posts had said they would post some names of applicants for you to ask them what the name of their company was because they weren't revealing their identity. They did list a few names but the post containing the names was soon deleted. So, they were weren't meaning the resumes were fake, they meant that they had listed fake names.

post my experience. They represented companies that already post on all the job boards. The line rate was not any better, no better benefits, shifts, etc. going through TM than if I had applied myself. I know this because I had already been offered a job twice by the company that they wanted me to test for. You have to go through an interview and testing (although the test is really a joke) and then go through it again with whatever company, so I see no advantage of going through TM.
Has anyone else noticed posts being deleted?
I first came to the company board, read the first post, went to the job seekers board, came back to the company board and the first post that I had read was gone ... POOF. It was just a question about a company, not anything ugly at all. Anyone else noticing this recently?

I posted that you give what you get. If you give half wages for full editing of very few clear dictators on slow VR with no expander, bad sound quality, and technical problems you're going to get what you give. MTs who aren't high producers will follow along like docile sheep.The high producing, skilled MTs will move on. VR allows shoddy work that was never acceptable when coming from MTs. The new generation of MTs have accepted that this is the future and aren't accustomed to the strict professionalism of the past. That's just what the MTSO is going to get.

I put mine on the board but got scared and deleted it after a day
Did not want anybody and everybody reading my personal business. I guess I like to e mail my resume privately. Though I am curious what response I'd get, I am too chicken to post it. Plus I am always worried if my present employer were to see it on the board LOL. Isn't there a chance of that? Oh, well. It's nice to hear it works if you get the guts to post it. :)

You cannot rely on honest referrals on this board, especially the archives. They are edited and deleted forever. Just as the negative posts on the Transcend forum "magically" disappear once discovered...Don't be so naive, unless you're the one "editing"!

I just did a search on the Main Board and on 8-26-08 there was someone else that noticed lower editing counts but felt it had to do with possible moving to offshore, but that is not the case that I am aware of here, but she also found others that this happened to. I really am questioning this software program. I know on another transcribing program (Medi-something) they can make your line length anything they want, show your line count as one thing and then actually make it something different that you do not know about. That is because I was a manager and saw the director's capabilities. Well, hmm, interesting...

You might want to look into a company who does a lot of voice recognition. Ask here and I'm sure you will get some respones. Another avenue might be QA.

I've worked with MedQuist, Keystrokes, Lee Perfect, AAA Transcription, You See Solutions, using a multitude of platforms - Scribes, Word, WP, Emdat Inscribe, etc. I've worked as an IC and employee. I've used 65 character and gross lines. I worked in the heyday as did many when you could easily get 12 cpl as an IC and employee, but the facts are the facts. I know earn 9 to 10 cpl, character line since that seems to be the most prevailant. I do not like it, but I do it. I've left companies because of crappy platforms (at least in my opinion - others loe them) or issues with being paid. My time is valuable and I will hunt down and find the place that I can make the most. It's time consuming but worth it in the end when you find your niche. It can be frustrating and rewarding in the end. I've earned anywhere from $25 to $50 an hour depending on account, platform, line counting, etc. I'm currently making $30 an hour with a 65 character coiunt and 9.5 cpl.
Just like with every career option there are some who are just better at the job than others. That does not not mean that those who struggle are bad, but someone else can do better and that is not a bad thing either.
Maybe some people are not truly cut out for the job even if they truly want it. Some have higher expectations than others and will never attain the high hourly average. Some are happy just making $15 an hour. Everyone has their own needs and expectations.
I do not see why anyone cannot make close to $25 an hour doing this job. I've been doing it for 20 years - acute care, clinic work, high ESL, etc. and I've always managed to make $25 an hour or more. I do not even like the job anymore, but I'm good at it and I make a really good buck doing it. When I finish my schooling for my next career choice, something I love to do, I'll leave the field knowing full well I will not make near the money I made at MT for quite sometime.
If you are doing Acute Care with high ESL, maybe you need to switch to something else. Regardless, the work is out there - you may have to look for it, but if I cannot average $25 an hour, then I do not want the work and I'll look elsewhere until I find the right fit. I've had to do it before when a company changed platforms, but I eventually found something else and moved on. My time is precious and I'm greedy.

Please read it! Big difference between identify theft from resumes and PHISHING for info to possibly commit identify theft. If you read the article, it says they take the info from the resumes and send PHISHING emails out to people to get more information to commit the crimes, they cannot just commit the crimes with the general info alone that is in the resumes. Obviously, you should never click a link in an email unless you're completely sure who it is from and should never just give your SS# and bank/cc account information out to someone.

If you want mandatory credentialling, then do something about the pay range for MTs! 8 cpl does not cut it when you consider the knowledge and education required for a qualified MT.
Coders in the midwest (where I live) who have their CCS make $20/hr with little to no experience! Do not for one minute compare the CMT to the CCS!! AHIMA is taking care of its coders, making sure coders and records techs are acknowledged for their expertise in the heath information industry and compensated for achieving their credentials. The ADHI only wants our money. They have done absolutely nothing for the MT who is credentialed --- 8 cpl or 9 cpl!?!?!!? --- does that sound like we are highly regarded health information professionals to you?
