No disrespect intended, but I feel that as am MT of over 30 years' experience, I have no need ot the AAMT or the AHDI or whatever else that sorority is calling itself these days. All it has ever done is to enrich its various directors and employees; it has never truly advocated for MTs. I still think that if an MT is really good, s/he doesn't need this kind of a group. I do like your idea of supporting US MT/QA, though. The AAMT/whoever they are completely sold out the American worker. For that reason alone, I despise them.
