It sort of occurred to me, that I could take the work from my people, and get their line rate, plus my profit..... or I could get additional work for myself and still get their profit. Seems like I'm working for about the same amount in the long run, just in different ways. So I chose to keep as many of my ladies on, as possible! :)
These are scary, sad times. I always hoped I would wind down and retire about the same time that the Pesky Dragon took over.... always figured voice recognition would kill me in the end. Several months ago, my biggest client did just that. Ordered computers with Dragon-type program for every doc in the ten doc practice, and they don't need me as much any more. A few of the older guys, God love 'em, decided not to use the Dragon.... Yay! I was able to convince them that if they just saw one more patient daily, with the time they didin't have to spend slowing down, editing, etc, they could afford me! The older, less technically-savvy docs stayed with me! Anyway, I hope I didn't make anyone mad, wasn't my intention. Just wanted to say that in my personal experience AuBri had been great to deal with. I'm not a lead or anything like that, just someone who had something good to report. :) Have a great day!
