I have worked for a few weekly paying companies. the dictation was either horrible or they had horrible complicated formatting rules/issues. They seem to want you to jump through hoops for that weekly pay. But that is MY opinion only.
There is one on one of the job boards that pays weekly.
I wish people would just stop applying for these low paying jobs!
That would force them to pay better or do it themselves. When I did QA for 3 years I was paid $20 an hour in addition to a line rate of 4 cents a line. I often ended up typing part of the report because there were so many errors. I would never work for 3 cents a line doing anything! Just my 2 cents...

Great advice. Is people stop working for them, maybe they will start paying attention. I wonder if .
their clients know they do not pay their MTs to do the work. You can bet that Rapid Transcript is getting paid by the client. What a ripoff. Just the fact that they have an F rating by the BBB woudl be enough of a turn-off for me. Crappy business practices.
Star Stop works better than express scribe. If you want start Stop, yea it is kind of sm
expensive. I wish they did pay their QA hourly as I think they would see better quality work, but they per line and it is higher than the other person posted.
I have never had a problem with management, so I am unfamiliar with what the other person experienced with management.
Pay is always on time (most of the time early). I like the software. I guess you just have to see if it fits for you.

If you dont get off the minute the hospital asks, even if you have no idea that they have requested that your to be off, then the hospital MTs steal your work right out of your queue and I mean reports you have already done. I dont understand the concept of having a contract with a hospital and then having to fight for work with the hospital MTs. We should have guaranteed work during our shift and enough of the the hospital wants you to help right now and then a few hours later they want us to stop working as the work is too low. It is crazy and I couldnt work like that so I had to quit.
When I am renting, I am PAYING; when I'm working, THEY are paying ME. sm
Seems I should be running a credit check on the potential employer to see if THEY are responsible with their money, not the other way around.

EFD in Texas, New England Medical Transcription (NEMT) and a company called On-Call, although neither of these companies have had ads posted recently. Hope this helps.
Also, have you ever thought about working for a temp service. They usually pay weekly. I don't know where you are located and how many temporary services are in your area, but I think this would be worth a try, considering your circumstance.

You work when you want during the week. They ask you to commit to one weekend day.
Furthermore, I was on only one account, and worked that same account every day. The work was plentiful. Since I wasn't hopping around on various accounts, I customized everything and made a zillion macros. It was very good for money.
It was the best job I ever worked. I had to leave because I needed benefits.

Can anyone give info on companies that pay weekly? Leaving mine and kind of used to that in the ole budget now;-) Just got a call from one company that paid well but MTs were paid from the 1-15th on the 30th - and certainly would not work here.

You should be able to see weekly and monthly
below the counts for the day. My understanding is that each day is reset at midnight (facility server's local time), each week on Saturday at midnight, and each month on the last day of the month at midnight (again, facility's local time zone).
So you can see the current day, but only summaries for the previous week and month, not individual previous days.

Weekly ISR reports
I am getting frustrated with them scrutinizing my every keystroke with the weekly ISR reports and obscessing about whether I am using Ctl D or not, when the real problem lies with the poor quality of the ISR! If they are going to lower our pay, then they should provide us with a quality platform that justifies the low pay. And if we are going to be paid on a production basis, then provide us with the means to be productive! Why can't they get that? We will produce more, which means they will make more money. Common sense to me.

I just signed on with a company that pays weekly. Great people!! Very friendly. Paychecks mailed every Monday. No platform as of yet so a little slow in building up line count. But I'll stick around until they obtain a platform.
