it is designated as such by the doctor and the hospital. You have a sample dictation which you created which is what someone normally says. You have to make sure you edit it each time it is used so that it is correct. I would think anyone in this business would have that much sense.
I am sure your company has not put in spy equipment in your house to watch you type to be sure you do not use something you created, so use it, but just use some common sense and it it each time.
This is a no-brainer as far as I am concerned

It's the "normal" dictation.
In my experience, template lines are the lines that you do not have to type. For instance, if you have a doctor that says to use his normal dictation, the template lines are that part of the dictation that is canned as opposed to the part that you type in.
Are you saying those of us who work for nat'ls aren't "normal, regular" MTs? LOL. NM
