I need a company with good benefits like health insurance, life insurance, pay increases, and retirement. Keystrokes sounds like a good company, but I do not know their benefits.

Keystrokes benefits
Regarding the Keystroke benefits.. I work for them and have not heard a thing??? I LOVE the company!! Regarding the incentive package... Would this pertain to IC status or just employee status??
Keystrokes Benefits
Does Keystroke offer affordable health insurance for husband and wife?
Keystrokes benefits
We just got AFLAC coverage. We are still waiting on new health insurance. The owner did not like the final quotes and continues to look for a plan with reasonable rates and reasonable coverage. I'll be glad since I currently have no health insurance.
I don't know about any other new benefits per se. However, they pay well. Account lead is nice and helpful. Direct deposit is always on time.
I have only worked here for 3 months so I don't have all of the benefits yet, so hopefully someone else can help you out in that regard.
I hope I have been helpful.
Keystrokes benefits..
I turned down a position at Keystrokes after I found out that they offer you health insurance but don't a cent toward the monthly premium, it all comes out of your paycheck. I think this is a joke. If you make your required lines of 12,000 per pay period and get paid .08 cents a line that $960.......take out taxes and the insurance premium, you'd barely be making $600 a pay period. That is ridiculous!
ANY INFORMATION ABOUT KEYSTROKES, PAY, BENEFITS?
ANY INFORMATION WOULD BE APPRECIATED, IE., MINIMUM LINE REQUIREMENTS FOR FULL TIME, IF THEY OFFER BENEFITS, ETC.
Beware Keystrokes benefits
Keystrokes really does not offer benefits in my opinion. The health insurance is no less than $300 per month, PTO does not even start for 1 year and yes, I got 2 different stories, too.
I elected to stay with/return to MQ. Their benefits are spelled out and soon, in October, they are supposed to be getting even better.
Be very careful with KS. Take it from one who learned!
Keystrokes benefits - are you employee or IC? SM
If you need/want benefits, you have to be an employee. Just call the office. Becky will send out the right paperwork. The benefits include 401k, life insurance, health insurance and PTO. I know that 1/1 will start bereavement, incentive, insurance going to Blue Cross/Blue Shield, better PTO, etc. The packets are due out by 12/1 but I know that they are trying to get them out sooner if possible.
Keystrokes has good FTE benefits
So sorry about you losing your job, and I hope you find something you enjoy quickly.
Keystrokes....Any information as far as benefits?
Specifically insurance...family or just employee costs? I really need a job with good insurance. I have an individual plan now but the costs keep going up and the deductible gets higher and higher. Thanks.
Keystrokes announces 2006 benefits package sm
Keystrokes has finalized the benefits package for full time employees and has received great feedback from our MTs.
We wanted to share these so that you get them straight from the source rather than in rumors and heresay.
To be FT, you must produce a minimum of 12,000 lines (acute care), 1200 reports (radiology) or a combination of the two.
After 90 days, all FT employees are eligible for:
2 sick days, 2 floating paid holidays, rate x 1.5 for holidays worked, 3 days bereavement pay for immediate family, 1 day bereavement pay for extended family, 401k plan (with vesting schedule for match), health insurance (paid by employee) and life insurance (paid by company), direct deposit.
After one year, FT employees are eligible for 5 days PTO. After three years, FT employees are eligible for 10 days PTO and after ten years, FT employees are eligible for 15 days PTO.
After years of changes due to growth, we have deemed 2006 a change-free year and have put in place many surprise perks for our MTs for this coming year.
We value our transcriptionists - both employees and ICs and want to make Keystrokes the employer of choice.
Give us a look ... you will like what you see. No more awkward growing pains; instead you will be treated with the professional respect you deserve while enjoying a personal touch!
Thank you to all who have helped mold the company into what it is today - we could not do it without the support of our transcriptionists, customers and supporters. We even thank the critics - their criticism allows us to improve :)
Happy Holidays !
I bet Keystrokes is sooo glad they posted their benefits! LOL
Sheesh! Talk about attack mode!
Keystrokes is hiring. Can anyone tell me how much for their medical insurance benefits etc...
I am looking for a FT job with good medical benefits for either myself or family coverage. They are seeking ortho MTs and that is right up my alley. Thanks in advance for any help.
Heard Keystrokes was getting better benefits, medical insurance etc.. Anyone care to elaborate? I
ready for a change.
Did Keystrokes sell to Transcend? I thought Keystrokes was buying up companies sm
but I heard from another service owner that they sold out to Transcend. Anyone know if that happened?
keystrokes ad..can someone tell keystrokes their banner ad needs a hyphen...quality-minded

Did Keystrokes sell to Transcend? I thought Keystrokes was buying sm
small companies but another service owner told me that she heard that Keystrokes sold to Transcend. Is this true?
I posted this down below but meant to post it as a new thread. Before I apply with them, I would like to know as I left Transcend a few months ago and do NOT want to get back into that mess.
Not only that, but I would MUCH rather work for Keystrokes than Spheris as Keystrokes doesn't
Only Keystrokes. Worked at MQ until I came to Keystrokes. Started at sm
Keystrokes PT, liked what I saw and experienced, gave notice to MQ and went FT. Have not look back since. I had previously worked at 2 hospitals, for MDI, Transcend and MRC until bought by MQ. I plan on retiring here as long as they stay as they are.
No, Not with Keystrokes, visiting friend and using her pc, she got job with Keystrokes
I forgot to change the Name. I do not think Keystrokes is hiring anymore now. Would like some info about Diskriter though.
Ditto, Keystrokes is a wonderful company with wonderful people! I love working for Keystrokes!
I am just not making enough money. They are a great company though, just ask for a back up account.
Been with Keystrokes staying with Keystrokes
I was there for the promises and guess what Keystrokes is making good on those promises.
I get vacation time, 401K, and even AFLAC. My pay is great, always on time as well as accurate.
I have my main account and have been given back up accounts for which I have been fully trained and am comfortable typing on. I have great leads, great tech support and plenty of work.
Am I biased??? Yes I am biased. I am grateful everyday that I was given the opportunity to work for Keystrokes and their team. I am grateful that my company's owner is a fellow Transcriptionist that goes home at the end of the day and works like the rest of us so she knows what a hard job I have and I know that she is working to make things better for me because unlike other companies I have worked for she understands what it is I do.
Please accept my apologies that you were unhappy with Keystrokes and chose to move on before all of the promises came to fruition but don't begrudge those of us that stayed loyal and are now reaping the benefits of a GREAT COMPANY WITH GREAT BENEFITS, LOTS OF WORK AND THE KNOWLEDGE THAT THERE ARE MANY MORE GREAT THINGS TO COME!
I just want to say Thank you Lee, Jeff, Becky, Karyn, Martha, Annette, Paul and everybody else in the office for all that you do.
Keystrokes does not go by keystrokes, we go by lines. sm
1200 lines per day comes out to 150 lines per hour. Most transcriptionists are able to do 200-250 lines per hour, so this is not unrealistic, nor is it unreasonable. The hospital that I used to work at prior to coming to Keystrokes had a minimum of 185 lines per hour. The service I worked for prior to Keystrokes had a minimum of 200 lines per hour.
Also looking into them. Do they have benefits?
TIA.
How are the benefits and
do they pay according to experience, i.e. will they match what you are making elsewhere if they have more work than one can handle lately if one tests high with them? If you know, please tell.
DSG benefits
Quoted me at over $1000 per month for two people. Needless to say, did not take it!
Same here! What benefits?
x
? Benefits
What health insurance benefits does KS have? I have heard they are not paying anything toward it and it is very expensive.
Benefits
I just put in a call today as I am looking for benefits now as my husband was just laid off. I can take Unicare for $354 per month until January 1st when Blue Cross/Blue Shield kicks in. The cost on that is $256 per month (my share) as Keystrokes picks up 25% of the employee portion. Seems to be average as that is around what my husband paid at his old company.
Benefits
SAAAWEEET!! I LOVE KEYSTROKES!! Just when you think they were the best... THEY GET BETTER!!!
No benefits necessary
hd
How about FT with benefits?
x
Benefits
I think Cymed is worth looking at. They have a few different options and deductibles so you can try and find a fit with your needs. Also it is BC/BS, plus dental and vision. Not sure how their costs compare to others out there, but no matter where you go the cost of benefits has gone through the roof unless you can actually hook up with a hospital. Good luck.
PS - got many more benefits where I went
LOL - much, much better.
How about benefits?
Medical, PTO, etc. TIA.
Benefits
Do they provide benefits?
Benefits
For health insurance, all the plans had fairly high deductibles. The lowest deductible and most expensive to the employee was $1500 up to $3000. Dental seemed to be basic. Also, they don't kick in until 1st of the month after your 90-day probationary period, assuming you are meeting your production. Didn't stay long enough to qualify.
FN benefits
I really don't see what ALL the hullabaloo is about regarding FutureNet and whether they offer this or that as far as benefits, DD or whatever. As an independent contractor, if you have to get health insurance for yourself and dependents, look at the cost as a tax deduction for heaven's sake.
To be eligibile for DD, you have to CONSISTENTLY make 14K lines a pay period and I for one, would much RATHER pay the extra $25 and know that my check is going to get to me by 12 noon the next day. You will receive an email with the tracking # etc, the Thursday before.
Take into consideration too, that there are a LOT of services out there that do NOT offer benefits or direct deposit. I have been in this business 25 years, and I for one, LOVE the flexibility of being able to work for a service when I want to, and not having to work someone's set schedule, just because of benefits or whatever. It's a choice that YOU and only YOU can make.
No benefits. IC only. nm

Benefits
No more than anywhere now a days and definitely cheaper than trying to get them on your own. Benefits have gone through the roof pretty much everywhere.
benefits
The way I see it is I will pay nearly $400-500 out of every check for benefits? Is that true?
benefits
thats about right
Benefits
Where are you coming up with that figure? Is that for a full family?
benefits
Yes that's for a full family. I got that from some information I was given by them.
Benefits
Hi, I work there too and that's about right for a family plan, if my recollection is right. The insurance is not too bad for just the employee but when you add husb or kids it get up there, but then again it seems to be like that at most places nowdays. I think their plan/coverage is pretty good though. I have been lucky and have been covered by my husband's policy and the kids are grown now, so I don't need to buy the coverage, you can also buy disability/life ins plans, etc. Other benefits are paid days off, but that takes years to accrue that and extra pay on holidays, etc. (but everyone is required to work 4 hours on the holiday) I have always worked partime at physicians office or else as an IC, so I never had benefits anywhere and have always worked 6-7 days a week and holidays as an IC (only time I could get caught up was on the holidays). The only thing I benefit from now is the extra holiday pay, and they do have 401-K and match a limited amount which is nice. Hope this helps.. talk to your contact person if you have questions, they can probably answer them in more detail. Good luck.
Benefits
Are there any companies that offer benefits that aren't a joke. I have talked to a few offering insurance but the premiums are ridiculous, I could get just as cheap on my own.....
benefits
The benefits ARE good, but you definitely earn them. If ESLs don't make you crazy, you'll like it there. Me, after tearing my hair out for awhile, took a lower-paying job elsewhere with easier dictators and actually bring home more $$$ now, but not good benefits. It's a trade-off.
NO BENEFITS
There are no benefits at all at this time, but it is in the workings.
benefits
Does anyone know of a company who offers part-time benefits?
no benefits.
xx
How's the benefits
Are the benefits at Medware costly or reasonable? I went to work for Diskriter, but was trying to choose between Medware and Diskriter. I chose Diskriter because they gave me the low down on their insurance costs.
Benefits
I don't believe Amphion offers medical benefits for P/T.
