I listen to the dictation a sentence ahead while typing/proofing the previous dictated sentence. There are many times docs repeat themselves, so this saves me some time as well by not having to go back and adjust text accordingly. During pauses, I'll proof the previous sentences. It's an art, no doubt, but it beats having to re-listen and proof for every single job. I'd never make money that way!

Of course, I utilize spellcheck and autotext/expanders to help me out as well.
