What's the beef with Accustat-Carolinas?

I have been given the preliminary congratulations by this company. Can you kindly give feedbacks on this. I think they are aggressively hiring.Are they nice to work with? Are the dictations ok or difficult? What is the pay? Do they pay on time? Your replies are much appreciated. Thank you! =)

Well AccuStat carolinas is who I work with and I have been doing great with them. They are offering more and more work so we never run out. Pay is always on time...for us experienced MTs...all is GREAT!!!

Has anyone heard of Accustat Carolinas?
I did a search and couldn't find anything. I think they're a new company. I went to their website and couldn't find a complete snail mail address--that made me nervous.

I can speak for AccuSTAT Wisconsin. It's not affiliated to any other AccuSTAT.
I've been with AccuSTAT Wisconsin now for 9 years and I wouldn't work anywhere else. The work is acute care (basic 4), mostly ops and ER work. The work is done thru C-phone or VXP software.
My big beef (sm)
...is when people like that are *not* dropping like flies, but getting promoted and making more money than someone who trains them and can handle any work thrown at her (i.e., me). All because they have more years they can put on a resume.
That's why I'm so glad I'm not at a hospital anymore and am happy as a clam to be at a national service.

I echo everything you have said! You are on target (typos or no).
SOmething happened at TT in March of this year, dunno what, but something slipped out of sync all right. Since then, I can't make 1500 lines, which I need, in anything less than 10 hours, no matter how much I try to do. My shift is 8 to 4 days, but I have been working 7 a.m. to 11 p.m. trying to get work. I am sorry, but duplex scans are NOT worth my time and that seems like all I get. One of the leads was kind enough to take care of me and assign work all afternoon and evening and I was doing better, till they told her not to. Now I am back to slim pickins and it doesn't matter when I am on there trying to work.
Flexing ASSumes we having any down time at all, which most of us are not. I don't call working 7 to 11 flexing, I call it slave labor and I call it illegal. I mean, their base rate is pretty poor, but if you can make numbers you can do much better. There is no longer a way for you to get those numbers!!!! Not anymore.
My old company that I quit to go to TT asked me back in the last month. They are willing to work with me to do whatever hours and work types I want. So, it is some mornings for OPs and then late afternoons and evenings as much as I can, and weekends, but I don't have to work all of every weekend, only if the work mounts up over a certain level. Heavy ESL account, but 10 cpl IC. Almost work as much or when I want to.
Today, I put out a resume and something happened with mtstars...the posting I saw was not connected to the right email, but it is a happy accident. I got a call to do ER work with a ton of templates at 8 cpl and I can set any schedule I want, but she would like weekend coverage, and I can have 2 days off during the week. I said I liked certain work types and she said she had the capacity to find that work for me, if I wanted it.
It does mean going back to working 7 days a week, which I am not sure I want, not exactly. Then again, I'll probably be working less in the end for more money. My days off with TT means I have 2 whole days to catch my lines around my life, not the other way around.
The account status emails are driving me up a wall.

the other day on the main board, where she claims she is an IC but asking about her hours and if she really had to work holidays, etc. The MTs who don't know what an IC is are the ones who are setting the scenario for this horrific change in our industry - IC is an IC. You're absolutely right - if the doctors set the hours and schedule and we follow blindly along, there is no difference - we are employees and the only ones benefiting are the doctors who don't have to do anything but toss a check our way, when they feel like it to boot.

is located in Charlotte, NC. I know, because I used to work there. They have bought A LOT of the hospitals in North Carolina. It is a VERY large corporation. Good company to work for.
If it's the one in the Carolinas, they offer 7.5 cpl and use MPWord, or did in January. Nice

Has anyone applied at AccuStat and received the test? I think 30 minutes of dictation is kind of a long test to take. Is there anyone else who feels the same? Does anyone have information on this company in regards to timely pay? I would not want to take what could turn into a 3-hour test if they are not a good company. TIA for any info...

Pay is good from them. They do not test so the pay is lower to start but stick with them and it comes up...fast!!

I have worked with them for going on 7 years and I keep in touch with over 30 other AccuStat MTs as well as we all help eachother. We all love them as they are helpful and treat you like a person. You will see bad remarks on here but, from what we all know, they are from MTs that were fired...

I have been with the company 2 years and I love AccuStat. They are personable. They care if you are happy or not with the work you have and they do all they can to make sure you are busy. They pay on time, every time and that is a HUGE bonus for all MTs.

I worked for Accustat for over a year and had no problems with pay. I loved the people there and they were very nice. I do not have anything bad to say about this company.

I need some input from anyone working for AccuStat. I started with them on Monday. Today is Thursday. Not much work given to me so far. My work is top quality, so that's not the issue. I'm getting nervous. So far I have made enough money to buy McDonald's lunch (well, maybe dinner too). Do they run out of work often? Help!!! I need some input.

I only know about AccuSTAT in Wisconsin, but
you can check the archives. It is a small MTSO with good accounts and good dictators, but they only hire IC status and I needed benefits. The pay was always on time and for headers and spaces.
