Webmedx offers a production bonus based on your lines per hour sm

In Reply to: As far as I know, only Spheris pays any incentive. - Most co's don't even offer bonuses.

over a minimum amount. Amount varies by amount produced. Not split in a pot like mentioned above. I don't understand how that would work?

Webmedx does but it is based on hours worked, not lines. nm
.
Anyone gone from MQ to Webmedx? Care to comment? How many lines per hour? Thanks.
I know I can do 300-350 now, but who knows when you change.
Transcend no longer offers production incentive. Gone.

Could someone tell me how the TT production bonus...sm
works?  Where are the breaks and how much per level?  Thanks.
Depends on if there is a production bonus.
If one of the companies has one, I'd work more for them. Whoever pays me the best gets my extra work.
Pay is based on production.
They have a few different levels. Maximum pay rate is for 225 lph minimum. That schedule is in the process of being revised and s/b finished within the next few weeks, most likely upward to our advantage and to include shift differential. For more details on the current pay rates, you may want to speak to a recruiter since I don't want to give incorrect details. I'm at the top pay level, and I make good money there, but there are other programs as well (like Star team). There is also weekend differential. Pay on holidays is time and a half if you work plus straight holiday time, which is why I almost always volunteer to work holidays if my daughter is with her dad.
Production bonus/incentive escription?
Anyone know of companies who offer those?
Their pay is average. They pay based on your production. nm
nm
think, people! If she does 250 lines/hour, same docs daily, will make $15/hour
nm
Yes. Their line rate is based on production with a minimum

per pay period (twice a month) of 3500 lines.  I think that 3500 lines per pay period only pays around .065 cents a line though.  5000+ lines a pay period is 8 cents a line.  They are IC, but they do pay the employer portion of Soc.Security (kind of like statutory).  They pay for black and white 65-character line (spaces included).  Hope that helps.

I know it's a production-based incentive and tiered but I cannot remember the specifics, get with
your recruiter and she can go over it in detail.  There is no shift differential or weekend differential of which I am aware, it is all based on production.
then you get changed to a production-based position according to my offer letter
NM
1800 lines is easily achieved. I average 300-340 lines per hour. nm
x
At my co, I would make $5 per hour LESS to be a lead vs. production pay. nm
pppp
Home-based $14/hour
x
Yes it is possible to double your lines. I cant type 460 lines an hour but I can get those with VR
x
Well if I could do 500 lines per hour, I would be making 35.00 an hour. sm
nothing to sneeze at. More than fair for having a 2-year degree. Come on people, we are all acting like we expect 6-digit incomes! Whatev!
Webmedx offers benefits for FT MTs; not sure sm
how many years of experience you must have but I'd think 7-8.5 cpl to start for acute care, if you can do ops. Plus there's a bonus / incentive package for shift differential and weekends.
Webmedx offers BCBS
Not too expensive (cheapest family coverage I have found). Coverage good, except labs are not covered :(
Webmedx offers PPO and good dental. nm
.
what minimin production, lines or
reports, do the want.
All sounds great.
Bonus lines
Anyone actually making bonus lines and w/what company?  Between 4 accounts and running out of work cannot even make the count...
bonus lines
We get bonus lines every month at Golden Isles. Don't know if they are hiring but look into it. www.gimtnet.com
Are you sure it is a bonus or 1-1/2 lines

I think they call it a bonus, but it is not, just 1-1/2 lines.  I comes in the same paycheck and regular pay for regular lines, tho.

How many regular lines did you get paid for?

Webmedx offers incentive scale to part timers. NM

Webmedx production
Let me start by saying that I love working for Webmedx.  I feel like I have a great supervisor and I generally like the work.  However, lately I am on multiple accounts and my production is really going down.  Is anybody else experiencing this?
Anyone turned down offers at Amphion, Axolotl or Webmedx - would like honest opinions

I would like to hear from any MTs who have recently (within the past month or two)  turned down offers or changed their minds about applying at Amphion, Axolotl, and Webmedx.  I have heard that each of those companies have been going through some major changes recently which could affect the atmosphere there.  For example, Amphion, I hear, has lost quite a few MTs.  Axolotl is bringing on so many new accounts everyone works OT every week.  Webmedx is going to be converting to speech recognition and the way their work is being assigned has changed recent.

I decided to throw out a wider net and have been contacted by Amphion, Axolotl, and Webmedx to do testing and interviews.  That's a lot of my time.  Since current employees love the place and former employees hate the place, I was trying to figure out a way to get some honest opinions about these companies before I go through all the testing and interviewing.   I thought maybe if I could hear from MTs who already went through the process and changed their minds that might be useful information.

I'd like to know why you decided against going with the company, if there is a specific reason -- hours, pay, benefits, bad vibes from the interviewer?  Any honest opinions would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks.

Webmedx sign on bonus
When I worked for the above, they offered me a sign on bonus of $250.00, and then charged me $250.00 for the use of their equipment, so beware of the sign on bonuses.
Always cpl times total lines, unless a bonus applies

Once you are totally off training and being paid only by your line rate (cpl), your pay will be based on your two week, total lines typed  (cpl x total lines typed).  The only time lines per hour would affect you is if you qualify for a bonus.  I do not know what MT Level you are (3 or 4), but I believe Level 4 bonus starts after 150 lines per hour.  If you qualify, don't try to figure the bonus out.  It will drive you crazy.  Just be happy to see a bonus in your check!

You're forgetting to add on the bonus 11K lines earns.
It makes the difference. BTW, the higher the production, of course, the more the bonus, which is applied to all lines produced. I think they're entirely aware that better producers will be much happier with the bottom line than low producers.
It's based on lines but instead of taking it in hours,
dollars, not hour.  Say you want to take 4 hours PTO time.  You tell your boss you're going to use 4 hours PTO for time off and on your timesheet you put the amount of money you want, i.e., $75 or whatever.  Every check stub has how much you earned each period and how much total you have.  We have no holidays or sick days, it everything comes out of your PTO.  We earn separate amounts for straight and ASR.  For instance, last pay period I earned $54 and worked 37 hours, had 5 days off sick without PTO because, due to lack of work and having to use it every pay period, I had none built up.  Everybody's amount is different based on line rate and line count.
If that's $9.50 an hour, that would be just under 6.5 cpl at 150 lines an hour. nm

Anyone care to comment on the new Webmedx Bonus Incentive?

??

Webmedx pays 8 hrs holiday pay (based on your LPH sm
production rate), plus whatever you transcribe for the day. Effectively, this is like double-time.
How many lines do you do an hour?
I type 350-400 and edit about 325-375.  What about you??
300 Lines An Hour
Very doubtful...What on earth account are you doing...There are several of us above and beyond experienced and familiar with DQS and no way can you produce that on a daily basis..Sorry Charley...Must be incognito staff..Rha Rha Rha
Wow ... 400+ lines per hour ... my hat's off to you :-) sm

If I sit and totally focus and make my fingers fly as fast as they can, I can do 400 lines in an hour ....... but just for that ONE hour.  After that, it's a law of diminishing returns.   I tried it one day ... 410 the first hour, 375 the next, then 310 ... and then it was nap time!  (smile)

I have thought about getting into QA at least part-time.  I have to do lots of stretching exercises and load up on Advil, or my tendinitis flares and then I can't do much of anything.

Thanks for validating what I said.  I wasn't trying to brag or anything -- maybe I came off wrong.    Maybe I should tell Dorothy I need a bonus for defending the company (smile).

Merry Christmas to you and yours.

I do 300 to 450 lines/hour (sm)
on a very slow platform.  Are you making full use of Instant Text and normals?  Feel free to email me, as depending on your experience, I may be able to suggest a service or two.  Sorry, mine isn't hiring.
I mean lines per hour not per day

Lines per hour-sm

Hi Ladies (& guys),

I could really use your help.  For full time status (employee or IC, doesn't really matter) what is your minimum line quota?  Just a short reply is all I need.  My manager is looking for averages to give to her director.  We're getting high numbers from an outside consulting firm (170-200 lph minimum for full time, 8 hour per day, 40 hour per week staff.)

Anonymous is okay, but known company info would be cool if you know what they require, regardless if you work for them or not.  We're just looking for basic rates, i.e., how much do you have to type to keep your full-time status.

Thanks so much!

892 lines per hour is ANOTHER LIE .... sm
Your first lie was that you typed 130 words per minute. Nobody typing that fast would put up with VR.

Read all the posts. 50,000 Frenchman can't be wrong.
How many cpl/about how many lines per hour?
It's the 4 cpl and below for VR that I find it hard to believe anybody makes comparable pay to straight doing.

Doing a quick guesstimate, you would have to be doing close to 550 lph at 4 cpl to make what you did in the period of time you did today. Are you really doing that many lph, or (hopefully) just being paid more than 4 cpl?
So you edit more than 400 lines an hour?

I havent seen anyone else be able to do that on the new platform.  What is your secret because I have tried and could only do 425 maximum on the best day with the best dictators on.  Way too much work for that kind of money.

I average 300 lines an hour
but some days I do have to work over 8 hours to make it work because of things going on around the house, this will definitely disrupt things
AVERAGE LINES PER HOUR

Can anyone tell me what their average lines per hour are on speech recognition, such as escription or extext?

Yup, that is about right - sometimes 700-800 lines per hour, it all depends. nm
x
How many lines per hour should a seasoned MT
I know it depends on work types and such but I just need a generalized idea. This is my first time being paid by line. The job offers a good mix of exams. TIA
Does your QA staff do 500 lines plus an hour? Ask your
attorney what the law is to paying less than minimum wage. Just curious as to what he has to say
How many lines per hour do you average?

312 lines per hour, not 3100, and you can
x
If you type 200 lines that is only $4.00 an hour?
Not even minimum wage. Tell them to go on to India if that is all they are paying.
