Webmedx PTO rate of 1.08 hours per payperiod and only for Full-time Employees

Webmedx only gives PTO and insurance to full-time employees. No PTO for the first 3 months, then something like 1.08 hours per pay period, starting at 0. If they run out of work or your ISP goes down or your child gets sick and you cannot get in the full 35 hours to qualify for full-time, they want you to use your PTO to make sure your hours add up to 35 that week. If you fall below 35 hours for 3 months in a row, no matter what the reason, they automatically drop you to part-time and take away your insurance. Then, you have to work a minimum of 35 hours for the next 3 months before you will be eligible for insurance again. As far as holidays, if the holiday falls on your scheduled work day, you have to work, unless you ask for it off in advance, but they do pay you for 8 hours of holiday at your normal rate, in addition to any lines you type that day.

Webmedx has 6 paid holidays a year, separate from PTO, for full time employees.

Webmedx - don't think I get get line count in for payperiod this time. (sm)
Several days of no/low work and last weekend when usually can pick up lines there was nothing. This weekend will be last weekend of payperiod so I don't hold any big hopes for that.
I am relatively new to Webmedx and this will be the first time I haven't hit the requirements. Can you tell me what might happen if anything. Thanks.
Full time/part time based on # hours or
# lines per pay period, nothing to do with quality. The lower the quality the higher the pay it seems.
Full time is 40 hours, and yes they have part-time.
nm
no most are full-time employees...no IC positions
they will hire some part-time but they usually like full-time
Getting hard for full time employees

Anyone know what full time is for KS? Lines or hours? nm
x
Not sure about the 40 hours for full-time, but 11,000 lines per pay sm
period are required. I think right now they are hiring for Sunday through Thursday or Tuesday through Saturday. You decide which shift/hours you want to work, and I tihnk they will allow you to do a split shift if you prefer. There is some flexibility in that you can let them know any changes you need to make, but generally you are expected to work the hours you commit to working.
The platform is ExText, which is Word-based and very easy to use. The insurance is very affordable, I think. You have a choice between Aetna or Coventry, and then 3 choices as far as coverage -- ultimate, choice, and standard. I have choice coverage with Coventry (single plan), and I think it is around $70 per pay period for medical, dental, and vision, with a $750 deductible, $15 copay for office visits.
Hope this helps!
For full time MedScribe, FL, do you just do 40 hours, sm
or is there also a line requirement? Do you punch a time clock? Do you have to work weekends? I don't see any mention of part time or IC status. Are they available? TIA.
Does Axolotl require 40 hours for full time
Also, what is the average most MTs type in a pay period? I know 12,000 is the minimum, but is it possible to type quite a bit more than that with their platform? THANKS!
Which companies consider full-time 35 hours per week? THX......nm

Transolutions I believe considers 32 hours full-time...nm

Transcend, is full time 40 hours or X lines?

MDI-MD hires statutory employees, full or part time. sm
Their web site is www.mditrans.com. They pay well, always on time, direct deposit, and genuinely care about their employees. Good luck!
just one more question....do they have regular full-time employees with benefits or......sm
just ICs? Thanks.
Any info on what is full time for DRC? Hours or lines? Any flexibility? TIA. nm
xx
Yes it does, but 35 hours a week is all that is required to be full time and get bennies.
.
Question for Webmedx Employees--If you find that you have trouble getting 7-8 hours in during--sm
your 12-hour window due to running out of work, are you required to make up those hours outside of your 12-hour window? Will they take away your benefits if you can't get 35-40 hours consistently due to work running out? Thanks!
Can anyone tell me Amphion's line rate for full time?
I looked through the archives but could only find 6000 for part time.
Thanks
Anyone know what full time is at Transtech? Lines or hours? Do they flex schedule? nm

T-C - full-time is 1000 lpd along with a "rough estimate" schedule of what hours you'll wor
It's pretty nice.
Webmedx - Benefits and Full-Time Status
I'm a bit surprised that I haven't seen any posts regarding the new requirements to be considered full time at Webmedx beginning in 2009 -- 40 hours per week rather than the previous 35 per week.
I guess it doesn't surprise me completely, but I'm not all that happy about it. An extra hour a day of work isn't high on my list of activities I want to add to my day. I already have a hard time fitting everything in.
Anyone else want to share their feelings about it?
Webmedx hire part time employees...sm
I'm really happy there. You might give them a try.
Full time with Transtech is both. 40 hours per week and 5500 lines per week.

when and time cutoff of payperiod??
Say you work Saturday and the payperiod cutoff time is midnight (now the next payperiod beginning) but your shift is not over until 3 a.m. Is it something like this maybe.
Only time I tend to run out is last weekend of payperiod when OT has been (sm)
authorized starting on Friday. Not too worried, looks like they are hiring more. Makes me think they are anticipating a new account and want to get people on and trained and ready.
This company is too good for me to give up on.
for MQ STAT employees tier rate applies to ME rate as well and how calcluated?
for a STAT MQ employee: Does anyone know if the tier rate is going to be applied to the ME rate as well or are they going to go with the 80% of the MT rate for each tier level? If the tier rate doesn't apply as well to the ME rate then going by the 80% of the MT rate is less than if the tier rate would be applied. I'm sure that MQ is going to go by whatever keeps money in their pockets. Guess this is a question for the supervisor tomorrow.
Payperiod ... 2 wks....6K lines/week or 12K payperiod.

i am not full of crap, sorry. cpl and hours inside
I just answered a post asking for ppls salaries. I most definately am not full of crap. I don't work 14-hour days or 7 days a week. I work 6 days a week totalling 48 hours a week if that, usually less. My cpl is 0.12 and as I said before I type 500 lines an hour. You do the math.
I did fail to mention however that is before taxes, which as an IC I have to take care of myself every year and I do not receive health benefits either, paid time off, or sick days.
Still, that kind of money IS possible regardless of what the Naysayers seem to believe is possible. It's exactly that type of close mindedness that keeps a person from succeeding or expanding their horizons to better things. I guess some ppl won't believe the truth when they hear it....
At MQ you have to work your full scheduled hours.
They need the have all the hours covered for stats and such. I dont understand the 2 different offers for FT, I would think the latter would be PT. If you get paid by production then it would be entirely up to you how many hours you wanted to work a day. Does the 8 hour day pay more or have better benefits?
Why would they give you a choice of 16 or 24 hours. Usually part time is anything under 37 hours.
That is extremely odd. Well they must have something up their sleeves. Well I will be working elsewhere part time as well as with MQ as I have no intention of sitting 40 hours with no work from Amherst and be expected to have 150 lph with no work. What is all this window of work time they said they would be giving everyone. I figured all along they would do away with SE. I have already been looking around and ordered a new computer to send theirs back.
the day has 24 hours, I work only 6-8 hours, so, lots of time to post...nm

Webmedx ASR rate is 70% of your regular line rate. sm
So if you are on a 9 cpl account, you get 6.3 CPL plus any bonus / incentives / shift differential.
I'm lookin for part-time work (about 3-4 hrs daily) after 13 years of full-time, anyone know of a
company that is hiring flexible part-time? I'm starting a career in real estate but don't want to totally quit transcription, but I think most places require 25 hours a week and I cant work weekends, as real estate sales are the biggest on the weekend with open houses and people off work to shows homes to. If you know of a place I'd sure appreciate the info. Thanks!
Not what I was told; 3500/wk part-time & 6000 wk/full-time. nm
nm
Precyse Solutions is hiring part-time and full-time right now.
Saw this on their website.
MDI-MD: What are daily line requirements for full-time/part-time? Thanks! nm

I have one full-time job and 2 part-time jobs. It can be tricky at times, sm
but at least I now have plenty of work always. I have some big financial goals, and right now that seems to be the only way to accomplish it. I can't see any reason why it would not be legal -- why would you say that? I am cheating no one, except myself (out of sleep and a social life). Fortunately, I am single with no children or anything. I cannot imagine doing this if I had a family. At least my dogige understands.
Do they have enough work to keep you busy? Do full timers have any flexibility in their hours?
Competitive line rates?
It was there for couple of hours until I removed it. See full details inside.
The situation is this. I emailed Ms. Axelrod and asked her to contact me. Rather than email me, she posted a long explanation about her company. The problem is that the address given cannot be verified as Jax having an office at that location. As well, the phone number given is residential, not business. I called and left a message on her answering machine, but received no return call. In the meantime, I removed all ads and responses Ms. Axelrod had posted.
At about 7 PM last night, I received an email from Ms. Axelrod asking us to remove all references of Jax Transcription from this website, because our site was too damaging to their reputation and that people are posting that they are offended when they get a voicemail when calling the number given. Ms. Axelrod said that she is located in an office building under the same name as her partners.
In response, I emailed Ms. Axelrod suggesting that likely the questions and concerns wouldn't have been an issue if she had posted full information in her ads to begin with. I suggested that rather than have me removed all posts about her company, why not work with MTStars by providing full details so that their reputation is sound and that in doing so they would prove that their business is legitmate and the suspicion would cease. I am awaiting a response.
Solution: Find another job, part time or full time.
Post your resume, hope for the best.
Depends on how flexible you need to be and if full-time or part-time
They are a little more flexible if you are part-time. Not so much full-time, where you can be a little flexible within the day (not a strict 8-5), but if you are scheduled for Monday, you have to work Monday unless you request off, and if you are scheduled for a Holiday, you have to work the holiday, unless you request off. They encourage you to clock out every time you are not typing to keep your lph rate up, which means an 8 hour day can turn into 12 hours at the computer. If they run out of work (which they do quite often), you have to make the time up. They are also leaning more towards Voice Recognition, so MTs are getting trained on that, but not sure what percent will go that way. It does affect how much work you may get though in the other accounts.
They are advertising for full time HIM now, do they still hire part time? nm

My thoughts exactly, why waste my time when you know you are only hiring full time? nm

Full time but no work half the time-nm

Question on MDI-MT full time vs. part time
Does anyone know how many lines per week or per pay period are required at MDI-MT to be considered full time? Thanks.
Part-time MT getting full-time work ??????
TransTech should not be giving out work to PT people on their DAY OFF, or any other time BEFORE a full-time MT has enough work !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Most services with employees and set hours pay their QA if there is no
work.Even MQ did that when I worked there though it happened rarely. As little as MTSOs pay QA people, they would not be out much. Fact is, QA needs to be there to monitor the stats that go into QA so you really cannot log out. Almost all I get through QA are stats and I might have 15 minutes without one come in and then about 4 or 5 might come in at one time. Pay by the hour is minimal next to the cost a company has to pay for a late stat report.
Every co I have ever done QA for that paid by the hour paid if you ran out of work because you were logged in and there working. Better to have us there than to pay high fees from late reports in any event.
Any Spheris employees know if you can negotiate for less than 20 hours PT? (sm)
Getting too old to do a fully 60 hours per week and was hoping to find employee status rather than IC to fit the bill here for less than 20 PT hours a week.
Saw the add for the SoCAL account and was intrigued. Used to do a large west coast account, perhaps this one came from MQ to them? Hope, hope,
Whatever they are, they will change soon..or your rate will, or your hours, or etc, etc, etc.
Changes frequently are the modus operandi.
Were you full time or part time?
I would like to get about 1500 lines a day in if possible - not possible? The pay seems good.
