MDI/facebook (sm)
I think it depends on what you are discussing. I don't see any reason why mingling with co-workers would be looked down upon or would be a bad thing at all! In an office setting co-workers become friends every day. Working from home can be lonely sometimes. I don't see how corresponding with co-workers could jeopardize your paycheck, unless you are unknowingly telling a higher-up how much you despise your company. If you love the company you work for and just enjoying having someone else to talk to about work, what's the problem? Maybe I'm too naive or missing something here!
Has anyone put this on facebook?
That reaches a lot more people than this board does and I'd bet the house that most Americans aren't even aware of this.
Facebook is way more positive. You can
I like it here, and wouldn't give it up, but can get caustic at times because of the anon status... and potential trolls. On FB, I have a page of what my friends are doing and it always cheers me up... I make time for it b/c we all need a personal touch from friends and family and a support system. I keep my friends total low to have quality time with my buds, we vent, we have fun, and it's like we are not so far away from each other. Re: MDI on facebook, I would never talk about where I worked on a board, really, unless I had invited my boss or others. I would feel like it is a breech of confidentiality for some reason... I am touchy about talking about work, b/c I guard my paycheck and its safety. But, good luck to you!
Facebook for employees?
Do any TT employees network through Facebook? I know there's a Yahoo group but I'm not familiar with Yahoo and its internal workings.
You guys are just speculating. She's on Facebook. sm
Why don't you ask her directly?
Since it's a private group on Facebook, you have to click on "request to join group" sm
It takes about a day to be added after the request is put in.
