Go to the National Check Fraud Center out of Charleston, SC. Their website is ncfc@nuvox.com. Telephone number 843-571-2143. They have the law on check fraud for every state and we don't have to accept this. My 11-25 paycheck bounced twice (I'm still waiting to see if 12-10 clears). I have already set things in motion and if the owner does not pay me real money within 10 days, my next move will be to sign an arrest warrant for him. I don't want to do that, but if he makes me, he must want to be arrested. It will be a lot of trouble on him if he does. Also, if my 12-10 paycheck does not clear, it will be a second offense. Something else I just learned, since they used the USPS to deliver their worthless paychecks, that makes this a federal offense. I also was thinking about People's Court. That should be horrendous publicity. But I will wait to see if I get paid. I know of six other MTs this has recently happened to. You are in good company of MTs who are having a bad company experience.
