Touchy

Little defensive don't you think. As far as I can tell I was not trashing the company, just simply asking a question. HMMMMMMMM, perhaps defending them is necessary because some of the rumors I have heard are true. Or is the owner answering the posting trying to beef up her company.....one never knows anymore in the world of MTs.

touchy?
I said nothing about your general education just about your education with regard to the business of MT and I stand by that.
The rest of your post is pointless as I made no disparaging remarks that required you to give me a resume of life experience.
If someone is working as an IC in medical transcription, they should be aware of the legalities on both sides of the fence and silly me, I feel one should abide by those legalities.
Not touchy...
but I am one who commented on certain newbies, of which I am one. Being honored to mentor a newbie is what I'm talking about. There are some newbies who really don't need mentoring but they are still newbies at this job. For instance, sending blanks to QA doesn't necessarily mean you don't know what the doc is talking about. Many times, it's simply because you can't understand what they're saying in the first place which even an MT in the business for 30 years may have problems with.
Sorry you have a problem with my wanting to work at home but that's my prerogative. I don't want to work in an office and I was qualified to work at home from the get-go. I worked in an office environment (not for MT) and there were just too many hateful, back-stabbing people in that setting to suit me.
And please don't take it personally but I can't count the times I've seen the word equation misspelled. Equation is the noun form of the verb equate.
Nasty vs Touchy
The person YOU ATTACKED made 1 statement of fact. Now if YOU read it as nasty, isn't that YOUR issue? For goodness sake, it's not nasty to share a different opinion (stated with a simple statement as she did) especially when the opinion is truthful.
It's not nasty to disagree, it's healthy.
IMO, worse than attacks are those who constantly whine about BEING attacked when it simply didn't occur.
I would email you, but it's a real touchy
situation with knowing who I am emailing. I currently work for Diskriter but I am seriously looking around. Maybe it's my own paranoia, but I do not know if you work for Diskriter and are just checking to see what people are saying. I know that sounds strange and extremely paranoid, but that's how I feel.
I have been looking at Alltype and a couple of small, not national, companies. I'm thinking that might be my best route. The stuff I have to deal with at DKRTR is just too much for too little pay.
