I agree with many points you made. When I started I was using a MAG card/selectric set up. I would not still be around if I had not learned long ago to roll with the punches... and there have been plenty of those.
No, ASR accounts AR not mandatory, but have you been in a work pool lately full of the left overs? Did they eliminate all other work types from your pool except count-killing diagnostic test reports out the ying-yang and cardiac caths dictated by bottom of the barrel ESLs? Has your income been cut in half for the past 6 months? Has your attitude toward your job plummeted from one of passionate enthusiasm to utter dread every time you start your shift? Do you burst into tears at the drop of a hat when your dictation is beginning to sound like verbals abuse and you still have three hours to go? Are you being driven into financial ruin by your puny paychecks? Do you have critical work pool issues that nobody wants to hear about? Did they send all of your macros to the graveyard? How would you feel if you found out that your ASR line rate was 15% lower than some of the other MTs? How much help do you think the training bonus is if the bottom line barely makes it to $70? By the way, they are not paying a bonus until you average pay is equal to or greater than straight transcription pay. $100 for the first 2 pay periods and $50 for the last one, that's it. How appreciated would you feel if you had made 6 passes at 4 different TMs, jump up and down and stand on your head to get some attention on the problem to no avail?
This is not about the growth of the company, team work, staying on the cutting edge or the cut-throat competitive market. The issue at hand is self-respect. If you and I were really colleagues at Precyse (their word, not mine), they would SHARE the wealth once in a while. After all, we ARE the ones that are generating their profits. Taking the garbage out is not in my job description. I earn my living by transcribing medical reports reports. I do my job and I do it well just like you. If I didn't, I wouldn't be maintaining 99%+ QA scores on such huge volumes of trash dictation....and they would not continue to throw it my way if they didn't think I put out darn good work. I am not likely to be weeded out anytime soon at the hand of managment as you and the anonymous mgr seem to think. In any case, I think you got this backwards. They are not replacing me. I'm replacing them and I am having absolutely no problem whatsoever finding work.
What is the company supposed to do? They are supposed to pay me a living wage for my 31 years of experience...not insult me by expecting me to double my line count for 0.0464 CPL, when somebody else is getting 6 cpl for grinding out an easier work load. To be sure, you can bet they are not accepting 50% less money from the accounts for ASR reports. Why should I? Why should anybody? I don't know what you call decent money but there is nothing DECENT about 4-and-1/2 pennies.
Attitude, smattitude. Show me the money.

Precyse Happy
Wow, I have to agree with the other posts. I have NEVER had a late paycheck or a check that was not correct (which is a small miracle--other companies seem to mess up the line count or something). I've been with Precyse for 3+ years (they are only 5 years old) and love it. Good pay, good benefits, picked my own schedule, no hassle from my manager, and they let me do my job! Each MT has to find the company that fits them. After 22 years in this profession, including in house and at home, I'm glad I found mine! Good luck to you
Happy at Precyse :) SM
I've been with Precyse for going on 3 years now and have to say that I appreciate the fact that they hire for open schedules. I rarely run out of work and when we have a spot open on the account I'm on, they fill that spot so that my work isn't affected. I have many friends here and have referred many of my friends to Precyse and they have not let any of us down. 3 years of experience speaks more than 10 minutes.
happy at Precyse
I have worked at Precyse for 3 years and am very happy. I hope to work for them for a very long time. I use their HMO with Aetna and have never had any problems. One of my accounts has gone to ASR but I actually like the break from 100% transcribing.
Happy New Year. May we all have happy home lives (sm)
and do whatever it takes to make our work lives work for us too.
Right and told we should be happy we have jobs. Not too happy right now.

I can't say enough nice things about this company; very flexible, you area a statutory employee. That means that they pay the employer portion of your SS. Great on time pay, tons of work. Do your lines and you are left alone! Expect to be responsible though. Pay for your phone; rent a Lanier or a C-phone if you don't have one; BayScribe platform. Anything that is a bit of an inconvenience is more than made up for. You will know to the minute how much you will make and how many lines you have typed. Check it out!

Am considering Precyse and would appreciate any feedback from gals/guys who currently work for this company. The good, the bad, and anything in between. Thanks.
Precyse
GO for it! I've owned my own company and worked for others. This is the classiest, best run, best paid, best benefits place I've ever found.

Is achieving a decent line count at Precyse easy to do?
Precyse. sm
I have tested with them twice, they were slow responding. Usually when I test I get an immediate response and job offer, they are a little slow in getting back. Would like to hear from Precyse MTs - line counts reasonably achievable?
Precyse
Been with Precyse 3+ years. Their recruiting needs some big time attention. They are rather selective about who they hire and quality is an issue. In my experience, I have had no problem achieving my lines, including the bonus every pay period for lines over 12,000. Of course I have been doing this for over 20 years!
Precyse
I am not a newbie either. I am switching companies trying to find a fit. Precyse cheats people with 20 years or plus experience on line counts. You are told, you will get feedback from every report, Not so, if you are very capable. I have done a lot, a lot of lines. Worked all day the day before I quit with all my macros, stayed focused and had 600 lines. That has never happened to me before, even with learning curve. I do 12-500 a day, until I met them. I finally figured out, they don't pay for headers, so why should I do them? I don't think they pay for footers either. I am running back to my old job as soon as I can, at least they don't steel lines.
Precyse/MDI
I've worked for both these companies. The platform is Webcorrect (DocQScribe). I happen to love that platform and I managed 1200 to 1400 lines in 6-7 hours - yes, relatively easy to get. I did all consultations and ERs (didn't like being stuck in these work types and ended up, after about 4 months, not getting any ERs). If you didn't like the old Edix management, you probably won't like Precyse. For the most part, though, other than a couple of snippy QA and supervisors, they're not bad.
As far as MDI goes, I did voice recognition for them for a few weeks. The platform I worked on was Escription - easy. The problem is, VR doesn't pay well (about half) and it is very possible to spend lots of time on these reports. Spent about 70% of the time on VR and the rest typing. These folks seemed unorganized and no one was available. If you're a self-starter, you'll do fine.
In my opinion, Precyse is the better, more structured company with much better benefits. The pay is always on time, every other week. If you don't like DocQScribe (Webcorrect), though, don't go there.
Good luck to you. Wish you the best.
Hope this helps. Email me for any further questions about where I work now.
And I think Precyse too?

Precyse does too

Do they pay well? Annual raises? Do they pay on time? Do they put you on too many accounts? Is platform fast enough? Is their line counting system fair?
Any other comments appreciated.
Thanks
Precyse
As I said before, each MT has to find a company that fits their needs and schedule. I've been with Precyse going on 4 years (they are only 6 years old) and love it. Pay is good, I always have work (of course I work a split shift by choice and there is always work), and have been on the same 2 accounts the whole time. They do not hold your hand, you have to be independent, but I like that. I never have PC problems, paycheck problems, or problems achieving my lines. I love their PTO account and the fact that it adds up so quickly. I've been doing this a long time and by far this is best national I have worked for thus far.
That's my 2 cents!
Try Precyse, could get 9-10 cpl
Good benefits, too.
Precyse
anyone working for Precyse or know anything about them? thanks
Precyse
I just called the Precyse telephone number and used the prompts for employment opportunities, and medical transcription. The automated voice said, Just a minute, please... Then there was screeching, like a fax machine! ROFL!
Anybody know a better way to contact them? I took their on-line test last week, and I just wanted to follow up.
Precyse...
I have looked in the archives. Awhile back it seemed there were mostly good things to say about them. Now I see more negative posts. Is someone reading this who wouldn't mind it if I Email and ask some specifics? TIA.
Precyse uses it too.
Precyse MTs, (sm)
I will be training on Precyse soon. Just wondered if you guys had any pointers about getting started off on the right foot. Also, do any of you use your own PC or do you use theirs?
Precyse
I am thinking about looking into Precyse. Does anyone have any really bad experiences with them such as lack of work etc.?
I believe Precyse does too. -nm

Precyse
all,
Does anyone know anything good or bad about Precyse, preferably from others that work for them or have worked for them? Interested in possibly checking them out and applying, but have not heard much about them. Likes, dislikes, benefits, requirements, etc., etc. Do they require you to have your own computer or rent from them? Do they have full-time, part-time or SE status? Basically anything you could offer in terms about the company would be great.
Precyse
Hmmm, I find it very interesting that someone would encourage you to stay with MQ and see if it gets better...amazing. I've worked there too on my rounds of nationals and it isn't pretty. I will continue to say that Precyse is a great company to work for, been there 4+ years and have no desire to look anywhere else. In truth, I cannot give you any input regarding the QA positions (I've been offered one, but hate QA work, prefer transcribing---and I make more money that way). I can tell you from an MT standpoint (and having done QA at other companies), they are consistent and constructive with the quarterly reviews and YES, they actually do the quarterly reviews, not just claim to do the reviews like others I have worked for in the past. That's my 2-cents.
Precyse
To anyone who has applied, how long did it take Precyse to get back with you after you completed the test at mttest.com? Thanks so much.
Precyse
Anyone have anything to say about Precyse? Good or bad?
Precyse
I left MQ, went to Precyse, now back at MQ. Precyse is wonderful when recruiting, then ditch you without answering emails, phone calls, etc. Because I tested high score they gave me their absolute worst accounts (verified by QA who was frustrated when I quit shortly after starting .... I was one of many).
Precyse does.

Precyse
Just got a job with Precyse and it sounds like an awesome company; people are so nice, not like MQ. They said we will work as a team, wow, never had that at MQ. I am so happy. Rad Transcriptionist for 23 years and finally going to be appreciated. Benefits and sign on bonus. Free equipment and reimbursement for internet connection every three months 60.00. I cannot wait to get started.
precyse
I also start Precyse Tuesday. I'm really excited. My pay is actually better than it was with MQ with the new rewards plan. I have been in contact with a Precyse employee and she has nothing but good things to say about them. I don't think any company is perfect. I'm just glad to be getting away from MQ and moving on to something better. Good luck to ya!
Thanks Precyse MT
I need some encouragement, after 13 years with the company from hell.
Precyse
To all looking for Radiology transcription full-time at home Precyse is hiring and they are the most nicest considerate people I have ever met. Check out their web page for what they offer. I reviewed the boards about Precyse and found only 1 or 2 negatives.
Precyse
Thanks for the feedback. I just applied, already took the tests, so here's hoping!
Precyse
Agree 100% If Pam is still the QA manager there, you are in the right place. She is tops. What you don't already know you will absolutely learn there.
precyse
I just started with Precyse and the communication has been wonderful. I have had emails and calls like crazy. I would try and call your supervisor, make sure she's not on vacation or something.
Precyse
They have been running out of work.

Someone is calling me today regarding more information on the job. I am reluctant to take a 3rd shift position but, at this point, I might accept it because I need to make a change.
Precyse
Has anyone had contact from Precyse after accepting a position recently?
Precyse QA...sm
Has anyone heard back from Precyse regarding the QA positions they had advertised the past couple of weeks? I'm wondering because I was called for three separate interviews, then nothing. I haven't heard back in over a week. I thought about calling them, but then I wonder if maybe this is some kind of sign??!!
Precyse
I heard from them right after I submitted resume. Had an interview with recruiter which went very well. Two days later had a second interview with someone in management. I thought that went well, too, and was told I'd be hearing from a third interviewer. I heard nothing more in spite of leaving messages with the management person and an e-mail with recruiter. That was 2 weeks ago. I finally gave up. I was disappointed since they sounded like a very good company... sigh.
Precyse
I've been with Precyse for almost 4 years and have absolutely no complaints on my end. If you want to know anything specific, please Email me. Everyone has an opinion, and I respect that, but the positives with this company far outweigh the negatives (and I've worked for other nationals).
Precyse
Thanks for the information. I may apply there. I have never used Medrite before and have worked for other places where their platform was horrible!
Thanks again. Lucy
Precyse
I've just been hired at Precyse as QA Editor. So far everything has gone excellent. Everyone is very friend. There is tons of work. I have no problems with communication. All e-mails/phone calls are responded to immediately. Wonderful company IMO so far. Hope that helps.
Precyse
Anyone else get an offer from Precyse, ask for time to think about it, and when you accepted via e-mail/left message on voice mail, you never heard from them again? I would suggest you not waste your time applying to this place.
Precyse
I had several interviews, offer, accepted position, and love the company. No complaints at all.
PreCyse
Could someone who currently works for PreCyse, please Email me? Thanks a lot.

Is Precyse an IC or employeee co?
