This struck me as odd

I have never heard a patient referred to in this way before by a dictator, like he is referring to an animal. Just thought it was funny:

*The patient is married with 10 offspring, 4 males and 6 females.*

Maybe this heat is frying my brain, but got a good laugh anyway.

Oh, okay - it just struck me as odd as sm
I remember seeing it the other day and thought the same thing.  When I saw it again today I thought I went back through the whole advertisement trying to make the love of animals connection.  Must be a vet clinic or something similar.  Ophthalmology isn't my thing, but just happened to notice the ad again and wondered.
struck a nerve
Wow, I would definitely say I struck some nerves today.  My point I'm trying to make is even though your office is at home, you are AT home, OT or regular hours.  Yes you like to spend time with your family but if you had OT at an actual office they wouldn't even get to see you. At least with your office at home you can say hi, answer questions, give some hugs.   If you're sick you may not want to be in your office at home, but at least you can throw on a pair of sweats and not have to look nice to complete your job.  No gas money to spend, no money for clothes, no travel time to and from work away from your family.
This part of your post struck me as odd

~~~  I have been subject to some horrifying systems where the companies actually expect you to achieve your line counts or keep them hidden.~~~~
Okay, I understand how an MTSO can hide line counts.  I worked in an office and saw how they did it.
BUT, ~~I have been subject to some horrifying systems where the companies actually expect you to achieve your line counts~~~~  So you are saying TH has a horrifying system and does not expect you to achieve your line count?  That's an odd statement.  Care to expound on it?
Very puzzling information.
This struck me as pretty funny
On another board a company has posted a MT position, stating that the MT must have impeccable grammar, punctuation, and PROOFREADING skills.....but, the name of the company is misspelled.
I'm not at TRX but comment struck a chord.
Just wanted to clarify that I'm not at TRX but had the same feelings you expressed so well, at another company.
It really makes me appreciate the ones who are respectful and have a helpful approach, which sounds like the QA at TRX.
When you struck this deal, did you happen to
You might have grounds for a lawsuit.
If not, I'd just start working my old days and hours. And when asked about it, I'd tell them, 'If you can go back on your word, than so can I'!
Sorry. No nerve struck. Just my bad post-Thanksgiving pre-Christmas stressed
out mood.
