The man is J and he is terrible about getting back to people in a timely fashion. This is an old story and I have heard it many times. I would call the office and ask to speak to someone else there, like the MT manager and find out what is going on and whether they intend to hire you or what.

My best suggestion is to move along because you may be caught in a long loop of this nonsense.
