Think twice.

It's not a bed of roses.
It's boring and monotonous. You say the same thing over and over and over and over. Repeat 20 times.
It's not fun saying no.
It's not fun having trainers and QA people saying this person is awful! when they aced the tests, interview, everything.
It's not fun having MTs come back to you saying I hate (fill in the blank)!, and you can't help them.
It's not fun taking a job with a company that appears to be great, but either hid its warts (which you still have to sell), or falls into disrepair (and you still have to sell). This is especially frustrating when YOU are to blame when the MTs come to this board to complain. They fail to realize that you have to do your job, and that you don't make the rules.
It's no fun being told here YOU handle it by management when something goes wrong with a hire and it's not your fault or anything you have the power to fix. They just want you to get yelled at so they don't have to deal with it.
Fun parts? You never have to listen to a horrible ESL doc. Every once in a while you run across an MT you really, really enjoy working with. Most people are so-so. Some are downright scary.
I'd never, ever, ever be a recruiter again, even though I gave it my all.
