It has to do with the Labor Board and labor laws. Employees who show up for work have to be paid, even when there is no work. So yes, they are required by law to pay us to sit around and do nothing.
But I notice that they have a hiring freeze here in the U.S. and are not replacing their U.S. MTs at the same rate that they are leaving. And more and more, the work at Precyse is going to Precyse International, which just their fancy name for sending it to India.
