The first person in the series last week lost his job due to off-shoring and they profiled that he now has gone back to college to learn another field. The newpaper industry is also being affected in that alot of their editing has been sent off-shore. Can you imagine what a mess that must be?
As someone wrote to the newspaper Editor last Sunday. You want to fix the economy in this country, keep the jobs in this country. Truer words were never spoken. AND I think people are starting to get sick of it, maybe I am just super aware of it, but I went to the store the other day and found a really cute blouse...since my job requires me to wear business attire I thought This would be cute for work. Held it up, looked in the mirror and then I looked at the price tag. $79.00 and a quick look at the label...made in china. That blouse went right back on the rack. You know it probably cost at the most $2.00 to have that blouse made in china, but they did not lower the price because of the low cost. Corporate greed is killing this country, IMHO.
