I am experiencing the same thing
I was hired by a company who made it seem that they were in desperate need for MTs. Once I was trained, they had to fiddle around to decide which account they would start me on because there was not much work on any of them. They knew this when they hired me. I think it is so thoughtless and inconsiderate of these MTSOs to hire MTs when they know they have no work for you to do.
Even worse are the MTSOs who drag their feet in getting you set up. They don't give a rats patuty that you quit a job to work for them and have no money coming in. Unbelievable.
Experiencing just about the same response
I also have tons of experience and have been looking for work. In the past, I usually found a new job within 2 days. Now, though, this is the third week I have been looking...jumping through all their loops, hoops, and anything else they toss at me. Thus far, no offers! Go figure!!!!!
Transcend----and the drought continues. Sick of the overhiring. Anyone else experiencing this??
Where is the work going? They are either overhiring AGAIN or sending MORE work to India than they are admitting to. Everyone says, ask for a second account Well good luck with that. I have a second, third, and fourth acount and ALL NO WORK. I quit!!! That should free up some work for the rest of you.
Transcend probs
Has anyone gotten any experience with working with Transcend? I think I have made a big mistake. I had a training class on Monday. Could not finish it because they did not download the software onto my pc correctly. So had to wait until tech support called me and fixed that. Trainer told me to call her once it was fixed. I have called and emailed multiple times and still have not talked with her. She just keeps blowing me off. I do not know what I am supposed to be doing right now. I decided to try and log on last night and complete some reports and guess what? NO WORK. That is why I took this job b/c I thought they were going to have loads of work. This is why I left my last company. What would you guys do? Would you go ahead and be looking again for another job? I just want to get a job with a company who will keep me busy. Why do these companies lie like they do? The recruiter promises you a bed of roses and then once you get on, you are ignored, there is no work to complete....I am just sooo sick and frustrated with this crap.
line counts, other probs..
I am new with TT - have only worked about 25 hours so far and am up to 200 lph as of my work tonight...it is always slow in the beginning...I am also losing time because I am adding new shortcuts as I get familar with the dictators pet phrases... but it will pay dividends in the future...I love it so far and see no problems...I think if you are working on dictaphone the drag from the real time slows you down a little and makes it seem like you are working harder...but dictaphone is notorious for that...I have checked their line rates with every counter I know...and they are if anything higher than what the counters I trust show...

last summer (two months - 4 invoices) I got ... zip. Endless e-mails, leaving voice messages, etc., FINALLY got everything caught up only to be told they were late because she was out of town?! Again, you are lucky; my experience was otherwise.
NO probs for me except when I push on wrong pedal and can't figure out why no one is speaking, lo
