Between the two accounts they need something like 50 people. I wouldn't worry about it. A company CAN hire lots of people and still staff appropriately, you know.

Find out which accounts they are hiring for. They have some ESL accounts that are extremely
difficult to do. I dont know how many accounts they have altogether but as I say, a few are very difficult and I actually dont have a problem with ESLs but these accounts are almost totally ESL. I dont do them anymore.

They are hiring for new accounts that are in place.

They way overhire. They do a big hiring for new accounts
and then when the dust settles there isn't enough work and a bunch leave. There are accounts with tons of work, but they are usually older accounts and for some reason they won't allow them to be used as backup accounts. Pay is better than most companies, but if you can't get your lines in it doesn't help. Pay always on time and if payday falls on a holiday pay is early.
They weren't a good fit for me, which turned out to be a good thing because I'm in a much better place now than I was with them, but I've worked for worse companies. If you are looking to work for one company I'd advise again that with Webmedx. I was only getting 12-15 hours in a week. I was always available my scheduled shift and was willing to work my days off, there just wasn't enough work.
Precyse Hiring for new accounts
I am an MT for Precyse and love the company. There is lots of work and the platform is very user friendly. A great place to work!

new accounts coming on board? I have nothing to do with MDI, but new accounts come on board companies in the first of the year and six months later, in June. That could be it. Also, companies are very concerned about TAT these days and do not want to pay out the ____ for late work.
I'm also suggesting the old adage if people worked their schedules it would probably be better all the way around.
All I see posted around here is I want to work when I want. Then sobbing about no work. You cannot have it both ways.
I do Rad for TT. Pay is good, tons of work, decent accounts. I know they are hiring a few more

no work, it will catch back up. There are ebbs and flows with every company and I, for one, am not worried about it.

most of what I have found is pretty old. Are the current employes squelched when it comes to giving out information regarding the company or are they just so busy they don't have time to mess around on the boards? If it helps - I truly understand. Been there, done that! Hopefully, don't have to ever do it again. Own accounts are the way to go.

they don't tell you because many will jump ship and they will be short-staffed. SM
Maybe not all, but the majority of companies will not tell their employees when they lose accounts, outsource, etc. They are a little bit smarter than to chance losing a large number of employee. But they won't hesitate to dump you without notice. Unfortunately, it's called corporate business.

and I'm STILL HERE WORKING FULL-TIME! I know last year there was a problem with hiring too many people before a couple of accounts started, but it isn't like that now.
Pay always on time, platform is easy, they've always been nice to me, do have several accounts to
avoid running out of work. I do MT and QA.
I know that DSG has their accounts split into DSG1 and DSG2 and I've noticed that the numbers for
both sides have been running a little low, may be due to the emphasis on tight turnaround time.
Maybe MQ is over hiring now in preparation for something. Must be some reason they keep hiring when
some people have not work.
Are they losing accounts. Do most of their accounts stay for long period of time. I have
heard pros and cons about the quality of their work. I guess it is much cheaper than other companies can offer.
Because the girls that monitor the accounts in the office were told the accounts either go on DQS or
move on. All accounts to be with MQ must be on DQS and no more different platforms. ONE ONLY DQS. They can send more work overseas then.
MDI-FL but not all accounts. Only the internet-based ones. C-phone accounts are fine.
So, yes, let me clarify before everyone gets in an uproar.. There is work IF you want to use a C-phone. IF you signed up for an account that is internet-based, you will be disappointed. Not enough work to go around. Just my personal preference.. I have no desire to do a dial-up C-phone account using my long distance.
Some do and have good accounts and fully loaded ESL accounts
Take a look at what is happening in India. For the first time, workers there have money to get themselves into debt by buying high priced items (cars for example). They now protest lower castes being allowed into universities at almost double the previous allowance. Wait until they are highly in debt, begin to feel entitled to a wage equal to that paid inthe US and then, try to form unions, get tossed out into the street and sit back with some Ben and Jerry ice cream and watch the economy collapse and all that dictation come back across the ocean. Timing is everything.
Well it sounds like no work happens a lot at DSG. How are the accounts as far as decent accounts
and their QA.
What good does it do? They've lied, they've betrayed us.
They've taken all they are going to take from me. I am not going to waste any more time being angry. I hate the way things ended, but I refuse to accept the blame for any part of it because I know that was a lie too, even though they did try to blame the MTs. I know part of the problem was quality issues, but QA wasn't to blame for that either, although they have been.
It is time to pick up and move on. I think mgmt will reap what they sow. For those who worked on the main account Webmedx is still hiring, though the best time slots have already been taken.

I don't think that they're hiring right now. I spoke with my lead on Thursday, who said they are focusing on making sure everyone has enough work and moving PTers to FT, eventually moving towards FT only with only weekends as PT. Not 100% sure when that is though.

Since you've brought it up, I've stopped SM
giving the negative info because every time I have in the past I am called a disgruntled ex-employee or told that my experience has no relation to what the company is like today.
I won't repeat the information I've given in the past, anyone can find it on searches. I've decided to just let the people have their experience with the company and that experience will validate everything I've ever said about those people.
The same people own and run that company--they may have new names doing the management, but it still runs the same way.

I can Google until dawn and still not find John Smith in NY - you know the neurologist... Cut me a break! I've now learned to ask my online company for a list of referring physicians (since none of the accounts are in my state) and also ask for websites for the hospitals, but I still don't take more than 5 min of my own time to find referring physicians. I send it right through with a verify cc:...
As far as making an educated guess, I would only do that if it was my own account and I know the dictator well. For the online company, it is their responsibility to make that educated guess as it is their client, not mine. I leave that up to the company to make assumptions; this way it is on their back, not mine when it comes to the legality of the report. Ultimately, the physician is responsible when signing that report or there should be clause on those reports that state dictated but not read. If that clause is not there, then it is the physician's responsibility to know the content, not the MT. An MT can only transcribe what they hear and really should not be making educated guesses on anyone since we live in a world of sue-happy patients and their malpractice insurance is so high. If there is a question, it needs to go the dictator to resolve.

I've been a QA 15 years and I've never heard
of any company only paying for the actual Keystrokes of the blank. You would literally make less than minimum wage that way. Waaay less.

Since I have been hiring for Keystrokes, I have ALWAYS followed thru with providing the proper paperwork to the office, and the AA gets the paperwork out the same day within hours of when I submit the new hire information, and then when the signed paperwork is not received usually we give someone about 72 hours, which on many occasions, people do not fax the paperwork back to the office, the AA in turns either sends out a FU e-mail asking where the paperwork is and/or I will call and send out an e-mail if there is an issue. I HAVE NEVER let anyone SLIP thru the Cracks with Keystrokes after I have offered them a position. Please get your facts straight before you post on here and use my name!
I have a note on the resume the date of hire, and the date the e-mail was sent to the office, and also have a new hire folder, where I put the e-mail that the office sends to me that the paperwork has been returned and faxed back, to the office. Keystrokes does FU on hiring of all new hires, so who ever is posting that needs to contact me and allow me to find out what the problem is so I can find a solution.

They said they passed me up because someone else wanted a full-time position, and I only wanted a part-time position. Then I had to contact them, which took 3 weeks to get a response. If I did well on the test and they need help, then why not hire me? What a waste of my time.

All of the smart MTs leave and only the extreme desperate stay. They do SUK.
