Yeah, you get bonuses based on your lines per hour rate, for all lines, not just the extra ones. The past few months I've been able to add 2 cents to my line rate based on the bonuses. Insurance is about $50 out of my paycheck for just me.
Lots of stuff in archives; go to the page numbers at the bottom, hit Ctrl-F for find and type in WebMedX.
The only possible negative I can think of is ESLs and slightly more difficult work, but if you passed their test, you should be fine. You're mostly on the same accounts, so you get used to them.

I wouldn't bother. They can't get you anything better than you can get yourself. They are basically recruiters who get paid if you are hired, but they don't have a whole bunch of companies so they aren't really weeding them out for you.

a Indian run company. Supposedly they have a U.S. storefront office in MA. Turnover is very high, which is why they constantly have ads running. The only good thing I've ever heard about them is they will hire newbies. They pretty much have to because an experienced MT would not want to work for them unless they couldn't find a job elsewhere.

but I also remember reading some positive comments. I am a CMT with 30 years of experience, and I need employee status with good, affordable health insurance. I so wish I could fine some place where I can stay until I retire, or at least a long, long time!

Strange that they're not in the archives.
I've been with them a long time. The new platform is now bad...we all know we had to switch from WP5.1 to keep up with the hospitals. No late pays, plenty of work, no problems with tech support, it's all good for me.

But if you were like the rest of us peons who had to run back every few seconds of footage because you can't understand most of what the dictating clown is saying, whether ESL or native train-catcher or sleepwalker or can't-make-up-my-mind-what-I-want-to-say, Ah...Hmmmm...Scratch that!...Let's see, ..uh...where were we.. uh... zzzz (yawn) zzzz. And then they race through the labs & medications 78 RPM. But they're God's chosen people while we can't miss a comma...QA gets p..... off if we send too many blanks, well, I hope you see my point. My hat goes off to you!
FC is a great company, very stable, lots of work. sm
The platform is simple and easy to use. You have a choice of transcribing in Word or WP5.1. My only negative is the sound quality. QA is very helpful and responsive. The people are very, very nice. I'm a bit of a perfectionist but still manage to rack up the lines pretty well. Pay is direct deposit, never late, many times early. On a scale of 1-10, I give this company a 9.
I recommend this company to seasoned MTs.
There's lots of work and we're asked to help out. No big whoop. nm

problems. She is recruiting heavy right now as she has a CHANCE at getting a big account back. Even if they get it back, they'll blow it again from poor management.

I think they're great.
I am not aware of any pay issues. No problems for me anyway. The only issue I've heard of is with the line counter having a technical glitch. It hasn't happened to me, but apparently if you check your lines during peak hours it hasn't counted all your lines until later. But they are communicating with us about it and having it worked on.
And yes, I'm a real employee, not management or paid actor, LOL.
If you never worked there, then how do you know they're great?

They are very consistent overall. Oh, now and then you get a nitpicky change made to something. (you can see all your reports after QA'd) But every communication i've had with QA has been very positive. I've even had an appreciative response after bring a QA error to their attention. Yes, you will be informed if you are being kept. You can even ask for a little reassurance during the probation period, ie, 'how am I doing?' When you're off of QA, QA doesn't have much of any contact with you. Your liasion keeps you updated with an e/m or two a day. That's about it.
But if you know you're a great mom and you know everyone loves you, sm
why would such a great person like you need a card to redeem herself?

I have no word for it! It is just ridiculous what some will post here! Ugghhh.... The funny part is that I agree that someone should know how to spell their company name and give real facts! There are times when I see posts stating they can't find a job, but there are spelling errors all through the post. It kind of makes you wonder............
