Silver is less, I have gold and I want to say it's about $75/pay period. $500 deductible, low copays. I believe 90 days is the waiting period but you'd have to ask the recruiter--I've been here a long time.

I thought the deductible was 500 vs 1000 (gold vs silver) but I guess I better go check! sm
As for policy levels, yes, you can get coverage as a single; as a couple; and self / family, with concurrent cost changes. Dental is great too.
Now, where did I put a copy of my BCBS plan... hmmm!
Looking for the silver lining--Thanks!
I suppose any raise is a good thing. I think I am just bummed after waiting 2 years for any sort of raise, and then finding out that it's impossible to achieve a perfect score because of the nature of my accounts. Perhaps if I had easy-to-please physicians, who did not require full QA for perfect reports, then I would get my 1/2 cent raise. SoftScript has nothing in place for MTs working on difficult accounts, and chooses to punish them instead. On the other hand, it is good to know that raises are scarce across the board with most companies. I guess I'm not alone!
Did your's come no a silver platter, 'cause
.
Let me hand you this perfect job on a silver platter
:-(
My point was that I don't need three tiers of QA.......
I said no errors, I guess I should have been more specific LOL. My average is 99.8%. Pretty close to 100%, but close only counts in horseshoes. :)
No tiers at Axolotl
Axolotl does not measure MTs by tiers. When you are hired, your line rate is based on your experience and your ability to transcribe different worktypes.
Yes they do have incentive tiers. SM
5501 to 6500 0.0025 more
6501 to 7500 0.0050 more
7501 to 8500 0.0075 more
8501 to 9500 0.0100 more
9501 to 11000 0.0150 more
11001 and above 0.0200 more
Incentive Tiers
Why bother even having an incentive tier? I can't even get enough hours to get the lines to get the incentive pay rate!
I assume some of you see the dark cloud in every silver lining, eh? nm
.
A heart of gold, there. :(
.
Gold star for you.
My pay was constantly screwed up, constant IMs, they didn't tell anyone I quit and I got IMs/emails demanding I log in for my shift, the owner is unpleasant to say the least although she does put on a good I'm your friend, we're a team show. The insurance as an employee is extremely expensive. As an IC there you also have a set schedule. Hence, not really IC.
Tiers aren't inherently evil, though
It sounds like the Etrans thing is tiers based on production, which I think is a horrible idea. As for tiers based on work difficulty, I'm a believer in that. It's probably the only way of differentiation a rookie MT from a seasoned one, and with everyone starting at the same rate, it only seems right that typing United Nations Medical Center should pay more than typing Joe Smith's Coughs and Colds Clinic.
How do you compare this to Sylcount IV Gold. nm
:
Post here from Jan. said start off at 6 cpl & go up to only 9 cpl thru weird tiers of difficulty.

If the off-shores produce "client-ready reports" why do you need THREE tiers of QA? nm
x
I like Sylcount Gold. Has tons of counting options.

Hospital accounts can be worth their weight in gold.
I work for a hospital, and I'll never go back to a national again. However, I do believe I work for the best hospital on the planet, too.
We are on production, but if we run out of work, we're still paid (they value their MTs). Great benefits, fantastic incentives, Planetree philosophy, conscientous dictators, life doesn't get much better than this.
Strongly consider working for a hospital rather than a service. I think you'll be happy.
TT - ext text. Why are some voice jobs gold/yellow instead of white? nm
