always seem to have the most intrusive security. Have you ever noticed that? Go to one of those dollar stores. Those convex mirrors are in every corner. Signs about shoplifting are all over the place. Warnings about ''hidden camera surveillance'' are posted everywhere, as though the place is Ft. Knox.
Higher-end stores may have equivalent security, but they are subtle and don't insult you with their warnings. Must be geared toward the clientele they want to attract. The store where there's nothing worth stealing is blatant; the store where there is good stuff is low-key.
I think the same theory often operates with employers. If I am really annoyed with the process of applying, testing and interviewing, I figure I really won't like working there.
