I had to do this when my grandkids were over ... too fun to push that little button on the front of the computer!

I just got the tape myself
I am happy where I am at but heard they paid well and wanted to check it out. The tape stinks. I work for a radiologist personally and for a national and am highly regarded. I also heard about the equipment costs. I understand wanting quality MTs but to me this testing was too much. If I was totally desperate and needed a job because I did not have one maybe I would finish the testing but I am not. I really do not want an IC position either, which is what they are.
SPI red tape
Finally got that packet today and, of course, they want it back by Friday. They gave an e-mail address for questions and I sent my questions and e-mail came back as undeliverable. I tried 3 times and still no luck. Have left 2 messages because you can never reach a real person, but no reply yet. Has anyone successfully used that e-mail they gave in the packet? I just renewed all my paperwork in May, except that packet did not include the arbitration agreement. Thanks for listening.

The test tape was horrible
I was really gunho when I got the tape thinking I would have no problem. The dictation was some of the worst I have ever heard in over 20 years of transcribing. I quickly realized this is an elimination tape. Before I pulled anymore hair out, I emailed to find out more about this job and to me it was not worth it. Asked about benefits, no reply at all so I assume it was all IC?? Pay was by lines.
I tossed the tape aside, forgot about it and they actually emailed wanting it back. LOL I was more than delighted to return it, then I had to find it. LOL

With Webmedx you can hit history button and it shows who has been in that report. (sm)
Of course, there is always the possibility they pulled it up and power went out or the report was a really long one and they had to go pickup kids or something. Though in that case I think they are supposed to put it on hold until they get back.
When I was training I was told if you pull the job up you are expected to type it. I personally do this, but evidently some of those truly horrible audio ones are just too much for some primadonnas.
