They edit back-door VR, which is sometimes good, sometimes pretty bad. Difficult to get a decent line count. They were paying by the hour, but more and more pressure to produce and I think they were going to paying by the line. Owner a very smooth talker, but very little meaningful communication. Pretty sure they are a front for an Indian company, but could never prove it. Platform is definitely Indian. Lost a couple of big accounts while I was working for them. I quit after a couple checks bounced.

Beware TSLLC
You will most certainly encounter a variety of compensation problems with TSLLC. You will be unlikely to run out of work.
Bounced checks with fees taken care of? If you call sharing the fees taking care of the fees.
A previous post asks: How cany they get away with all this crap all the time? It is hard enough to make ends meet right now without companies screwing you over.
MTSOs get away with whatever they get away with because there is a never-ending supply of people willing to endure that which is dished out in order to collect a paycheck. When you as an individual CHOOSE not to support dishonest and unethical companies, they will then no longer be able to get away with whatever it is they are getting away with - poverty wages, bounced checks, and any other number of abuses that are going on.
TSLLC of North Carolina??
Anyone know anything about this company? Looking for good, bad, or otherwise. Willing to share. Considering them. Looking for posts from former or current workers, please. Cannot find anything on here.

I worked for TSLLC for a short time last year
They pay hourly for editing voice recognition reports. Back then, very few of the reports were very good quality, most of them had to be pretty much retyped. The software might have learned some of those by now though, not sure as I didn't stay to find out. One thing I was told AFTER I started working there was that your hourly rate will most likely go down. During the first 3 months, you get paid the hourly rate you agreed upon and then they start charting how long you're actually playing the voice file and that's what you get paid for. In other words, every time you stop the voice to make corrections, you're not getting paid. They also constantly sent emails with stupid mistakes that other MTs/editors were making and I just got annoyed and quit. But all in all, it was actually a good company and I always got paid on time, and if I remember correctly, it was weekly. I would just recommend asking for a higher hourly rate to begin with or making sure it won't go down later, put something in the contract or something. Hope this helps and wasn't too confusing :)
