We have a school in Barbados, I am hiring teachers to go to Barbados, teachers were not an option in the drop down list so I tried to explain it the best I could in the job description box. I would like to be clear. We have a training school. We are not supplying work. Thanks for your concern.

Instructors for Barbados.
I don't think I am missing the point. You seem to think that I am supplying work to Barbados and that is not the case. I also have a school right here in the US that has now over 200 students on-line students enrolled. We are doing good things for the US and for any student that wants to learn. We are training citizens of Barbados who are extremely excited to be great medical transcriptionists. Just like our 200+ students here in the US TRS Institute. Which by the way has created great jobs for US-based MTs and trainers, and mentors.

I am sorry you feel like that. I know many MTs who find this to be a great opportunity to share their knowledge with others and teach the art of medical transcription for the best quality of medical documentation possible.

You could still be misinformed. We have a great US-based school and were approached to provide the same opportunities for Barbados. We create great jobs and hire US MTs every day. We have an excellent program for US-based MTs, editors, QA members. I am extremely proud of TRS and what they are doing for the industry in many aspects. There may be no changing your mind but we are doing great things. God bless!

told you incorrectly. It may be slower (I doubt it), but in my opinion, you should look it up in a book FIRST and if you can't find it, then search online.
Another poster already commented about a girl who depended solely on the internet and was at a loss as to what to do when the internet went down. Sitting right in front of her was a whole library of books that she didn't have the first idea how to use. Doesn't seem to me that you should have to be taught in an MT training program how to look something up in a reference book! The whole MT school-training program thing needs a total overhaul!

This is the same story we heard about 15 years ago when the MT owners decided to send trainers over to India - they weren't sending working, just training people. Look what happened.
You should be ashamed but I know from your previous posts that you think you do no wrong.
Barbados-MTPrincess
You are correct. I am not ashamed. Been in the industry too long to have my head in the sand. We are a global industry and I hire great US-based MTs every day. If I can provide an opportunity for someone who wants to teach and I have individuals who want to learn and I am doing all I can to promote professionalism within the industry and within the company that I work with then I am doing no harm. Many things have changed in 15 years and I can't be held responsible for things others did. I know that we are doing great things and so there is no shame here. You take care and thanks for writing.
BARBADOS is offshore, i.e., can anyone say
tax sheltered?
You may not be supplying work to Barbados yet but
you are outsourcing to other countries where you have already been and trained them - that is our point.

somehow I didn't think a US company would be quite this bold - but what do I know? It is on the other job board - not sure if anyone here has seen it yet? Wow - just wow -
