been scammed, or either your trainer is just taking her time while pulling you around the nose, or they have decided against hiring you and are too lazy to tell you. I have never been done this way and hope I never will be. If I were you I would send an email saying you are sending the footpedal back and to forget it if you're too busy to train me. If no training w/in two days after that, actually send it back.

You just know at the end of the end they are going to tell you after all that work that it didn't pass because you didn't put a comma where it needed to be etc.. and how are you going to dispute any of it or get paid. in order to figure how many line needs to be produced to make $500 per pay period. ie, how many lines an hour needed per 8 hour day --at your rate.
So say $450 a week would be $90 a day.
For example, if making 4 cents a line,need 2,250 lines a day, 281 an HOUR (to listen through and edit) to make this great wage of $90. a day FOR ALL THIS SAME SKILL, TO KEEP UPDATED WITH CHANGING MEDICAL COMMUNITY. nope Better at Jack-in-Box Pass it up.

They've taken all they are going to take from me. I am not going to waste any more time being angry. I hate the way things ended, but I refuse to accept the blame for any part of it because I know that was a lie too, even though they did try to blame the MTs. I know part of the problem was quality issues, but QA wasn't to blame for that either, although they have been.
It is time to pick up and move on. I think mgmt will reap what they sow. For those who worked on the main account Webmedx is still hiring, though the best time slots have already been taken.

what you do when there is no work. Well, there will be a lot of problems with this whole plan if they dont get things straightened out with this no work situation.
Since you've brought it up, I've stopped SM
giving the negative info because every time I have in the past I am called a disgruntled ex-employee or told that my experience has no relation to what the company is like today.
I won't repeat the information I've given in the past, anyone can find it on searches. I've decided to just let the people have their experience with the company and that experience will validate everything I've ever said about those people.
The same people own and run that company--they may have new names doing the management, but it still runs the same way.

I've now learned to ask my online company for a list of referring physicians (since none of the accounts are in my state) and also ask for websites for the hospitals, but I still don't take more than 5 min of my own time to find referring physicians. As far as making an educated guess, I would only do that if it was my own account and I know the dictator well. For the online company, it is their responsibility to make that educated guess as it is their client, not mine. I leave that up to the company to make assumptions; this way it is on their back, not mine when it comes to the legality of the report. Ultimately, the physician is responsible when signing that report or there should be clause on those reports that state dictated but not read. If that clause is not there, then it is the physician's responsibility to know the content, not the MT. An MT can only transcribe what they hear and really should not be making educated guesses on anyone since we live in a world of sue-happy patients and their malpractice insurance is so high. If there is a question, it needs to go the dictator to resolve.

of any company only paying for the actual Keystrokes of the blank. You would literally make less than minimum wage that way. Waaay less.

They will take 6 weeks to send you a paycheck for 2 weeks pay, trim 30% off your line counts to supposedly cover headers/footers, and stiff you for your last check if you leave. Leave while you are ahead if it is them.

This sounds exactly like the what the
well trained office staff is supposed to say to negativity about the company. I worked for TC for awhile and learned the ins and outs. If you don't mind being overworked, underpaid, all the cherrypicking going on and don't question anything then this is a great company to work for. Not to mention if you are on the CEOs good side and work in the office you get paid trips to Disneyland for your whole family, and can give the MTs as much grief as you want and nothing is said. But if you do mind all this stuff, then as the first poster said run as fast as you can.

husband has through work only the deductible is 1000.00 for in network, 2000.00 out of network. No payout until deductible is met,except for office visits. Unfortunately, only one of my doctors is in his network. None of my specialists are. And, the PPO network is very restricted. But we do have prescriptions. It used to be John Deere Healthcare. Now it is United Healthcare.

somebody already figured the lines to be subtracted at 133 . . . is that gross lines from the original counting method? If so, then you would need to figure it based on 65-char so as not to cheat yourself. It could be quite a difference, especially when considering the weekly or monthly amount.
Also, if it were me I would tell them that my 65-character count line rate is higher than my gross lines rate (by at least 2 cpl), and that that is standard practice, which it is.
