If I was the suspicious type, I might guess that the new people will be hired at a lower line rate as part of the global equilibration that proved the K-Y to get me out the door.

It's not speculation, it's called foresight...
I've already taken a stand, and I have already voiced what I feel we can all do about it. If you don't want to do anything different, don't.
1) I'm not dragging my feet. I'm busy typing, and on my terms. I don't mind change as long as it isn't at my expense.
2) The work I refuse to do won't just go to Siberia or wherever because I won't fix it for them when it comes back.
3) My ability to work in this business for as long as it lasts is secure, so I don't have to secure anything. I've been doing it for many, many years. I could work for any company I choose. I could do editing, QA, whatever I choose.
It's fine if you want to voice your opinion, but don't get snippy with me about mine. If you're tired of hearing what I have to say about this issue, then stop reading my posts.
Well you're the one implying that these facts are nothing but speculation!
and that was the original problem you apparently had with the OSi postings on here. I'll take your changing the subject as an acknowledgement of the validity of these emails that every employee received, read and was disgusted by.
