I think she's been in the bizniz too long and is burned out.
I have watched her personally and she will be nice to you only if she thinks you can get help her get ahead in her own recruiting job; otherwise, she is absolutely hateful, smart-mouthed, condescending, and the very picture of unprofessionalism.
It is embarassing to have her represent anyone at all in this biz - employer or employee.

I didn't realize I was graded on my grammar when posting here. How rude. Posts may and will contain grammatical errors because I don't run my posts through a spell or grammar checker, and I post in a hurry on my breaks or days off when I feel I have something I need to say. Not that I need to explain myself, but I have excellent grammar skills and spelling skills, feel like this should be the one outlet where I can slip a little. GEESH!

I hate to disappoint you but I am an MT. ?
It seems rather closed minded to think everyone has your experience.
Several of my friends work for MQ, too. All but one is very happy. The one who isn't has not been happy with any place she has ever worked.
Hate to disappoint you but I make over $46,000.
I only work M-F 8 am - 4:30 p.m.
I love it. It can be frustrating at times. I did MT work over 20 years and I couldn't be happier to be in this position! I've done this 4 years now and have no intention of changing positions.
I think that is a threat.

There is the threat of being fired if you
talk about your payrate. They make you sign a form stating that.
The insurance though, for single, is a little less than 100 per month if you go for the higher premium. The vision and dental are extra.
I'm sorry you are frustrated with the lack of answers. It really is the responsibility of Transcend to that supply you with that information.

VR is a much bigger threat to MTs than offshore
They will still need us, but pay diddly for the most boring, exasperating work you could ever imagine. I'd rather lick stamps and put them on envelopes than continue doing this crud. It's terrible - most of the dictation comes out as a word salad and you have to make some sense of it all. Terrible.
Yes it will be a threat. It will just pick up these sounds of
chewing and make words out of them. Yep.
The problem is the threat of getting fired for now getting ESL now

That made me laugh. In what way does that make you feel threatened? Is a smugger going to leap out of your computer?
Some of that note was addressed to Teresa as well. It IS smug and foolish to tell people out of work at the same company how much better things are for you and how you are given special treatment. It does not leave a lot of hope for the rest of the MTs, does it? I seriously doubt the company wants us to be aware that you're given such prefential treatment. That is what I meant by not too smart.
Just a quick note to you. I saw your threat before it was changed
by the administrator, but that being taken out, it still does not change the meaning of your post. I think I saw someone below say something about perhaps you would be happier moving to India or the Philippines and I tend to agree.
I have NEVER in all my years in this field seen such a display of sheer disrespect for the American MTs. I am one who has been in this field for over 25 years and have managed MTs as well. I know there are always slackers but many work very hard and your words addressing our American MTs shows what little regard you have for any of us.
I would be ashamed to have my name to your post and I hope every MT in this country bans your company and you will be stuck QAing the reports yourself (though it is my pure speculation that you might not be such a great QA person).
If all MTSOs put in words what you just did, this business would have been gone long ago. I think your post is a disgrace.
