your base rate - there are incentives and differentials that make 8.5 turn into 9.5 and 10 cpl fairly easily.
That 7 CPL rate mentioned above would probably be for an easy account or worktype (Rad, ER) and turn into much higher rates quickly.

Ah, you're probably the one who completely ignores my....
QA time after time after time, right? I always thought that when a mistake was pointed out, the MT would take PRIDE in his or her work and correct the situation to be compliant with QA. I guess probably you think street language in the worst kind is okay, too???? The medical profession needs SOME kind of standardization. I can guarantee if you change jobs you will more than likely be hit with following the BOS so whether you like it or agree with it, it IS the rule of standard for the medical transcription profession and you would do well to change your attitude.
