Yes this is healthcare, medical field, and so on. Yes hospitals, doctors, and nurses work weekends. You're forgetting something. You are NONE of these things. You are considering yourselves more important than you really are. As stated, you are considered by these companies as nothing but an at-home worker now, only worthy of the low wages you have been seeing. Doctors still call us typists for crying out loud. While there is a need for weekend work here and there, it is not as the MTSOs described it. They just want a commitment to cover their butts in case there was a real need. Furthermore, I do not recall the OP asking for sympathy, do you? Someone stated she had a lack of commitment and did not **deserve** a job. Where do you people come up with this stuff? If you do not agree with someone's post, if you are **tired** of this stuff, then instead of using every opportunity to be offensive and insulting, when there was none here, why don't you move on to another post where you might be helpful. Opinions are one thing, but my goodness - some of you act like she is a second class citizen for not wanting to work the weekends. What is wrong with you? It is a personal choice for any MT. How can you insult someone for not choosing as you do?
