Their email address is an AOL email address, so if you are not using AOL, did you put @aol.com on the end of the email address? If you use AOL, of course you do not need to put the @aol.com extension on. As previously mentioned, I sent her my resume and heard back from them about a half hour later.

Question about sending resume...sm
Sorry if a silly question but...I've never applied for a position from the Job Seeker's board before. When I copy my resume over, do I have to make it look normal in that box, or do I leave as-is and when it gets forwarded, will it look like it originally did in Word? Thanks!
I think sending your resume is the only application
There's nothing else to fill out, just send your resume.
Quest. about testing vs. sending resume to company...
As we know, most companies have you test for them, usually through mttest.com. Some places allow you to submit your resume first, which is often followed by the invitation/direction to take their test. My question is, do most companies just recieve your resume and automatically have you test, or do they actually look at the resume first to see if your initial qualifications are adequate? I've tested at a few places and didn't qualify. I'd love to know that they actually checked out my experience first and that is why they're having me test instead of me spending all that time when they may just be able to tell me I'm not qualified just from the resume. Do you know which is the case?
Same here! They got e-mailed me back within an hour or two to sending my resume!
Can't wait to talk to them on Monday!
Start sending a flurry of resume emails
I would start sending out to everybody I could find on MTJOBS.COM and MTSTARS.COM
Even go back in the older listings for company names, never can tell, thugh no longer listing a job ad, may just find an opening. Would try and work both places until you can tell if the new job is a match.
So Sorry this happened
From someone who bothered sending a resume, I take it back. I'm shocked at the immaturity
level that is going on. There is no way I would even think of accepting a job that would have a recruiter who acts as you have on here. I'm pretty sure you burned all of your bridges. I feel for the companies who hired you to represent them. How proud they must be..NOT.. Wow..

The Transcription Doctors, Inc.
The owner of TTD, Inc. is extremely nice and very easygoing. I worked for them for a year as an IC and was very happy. I only left because I wanted to become a W2 employee with PTO and benefits. Feel free to email me if you have more questions

There platform is easy to work for and easy accounts BUT you are considered an IC and have to adhere to a STRICT schedule, doesn't sound like a IC, huh?
QA is OK, but again, you have to have to stick to a strict schedule, or else.
TTD is The Transcription Doctors
TMInc is TransMedical Inc.

The Transcription Doctors, Inc?
Does anyone know anything about this company?
The Transcription Doctors
Any info on this company would be greatly appreciated. I really want to make sure I am not working for free. Thanks!!
Transcription Doctors...
I started working for this company (if you want to call it working). I am only allowed to do 10 reports a day until off QA and their QA is so back and forth- verbatum wait no add words wait no why did you add words AAAH. Nice people, but its driving me crazy. Then there are these constant emails about backlog, but like I said I am only allowed 10 a day and I can only work on the one account. I am a little frustrated. I have been in this business for 10 years and left for awhile, but stepping back in. Any suggestions? Anyone who works for them and got over this hump and all was okay?
TIA

Any info on this company? TIA.
How is SGS connected to TTD (Transcription Doctors)?
Did SGS buy TTD?
TTD is The Transcription Doctors. TRX is a different company.
The Transcription Doctors?? I received an email about a job. Anyone know who they are?
Just checking them out.
Transcription Doctors? OK to work for? (see message)
Do they hire IC or employee? Decent work flow? Reasonable expectations? Is management/QA reasonably nice?
Anyone know a company that works with small pool of doctors? Tired of so many doctors nm

The coverage is perfect for me as all my doctors and my kids doctors are sm
in network. With WebMedx none of them were. The coverage is much better for me. My husband's company wanted to charge us $1470 per month for family coverage. There are three of us, so that would be $490 per month per person, which is insane.
Has anyone tried to send a resume to the post from Medical Transcription Services - sm
My attempts have all bounced back to my email address saying
The message that you sent was undeliverable to the following:
Jobs (UNUSED) I went on to their website and the email it says to send resumes to is jobs@transcriptionoutsourcing.com, which is the one I used. Just wanted to see if anyone else got this problem...
Keystrokes sending sending my W2, anyone else? NM

How long does it take TransHealth to get back to someone when you send a resume? I sent a resume

Has anyone gotten a job from any company not posting regularly from their resume in the resume
s
No, but she didn't say she was sending any
We talked this morning, and I told her I needed a couple of days to think about it. Yes, I'd like to chat via e-mail, but how do we do that? Do I do post reply versus post quick reply? Tell me how, and I'll send you a note about it and we can compare notes!
Yes, the week is not over. They are sending
out MT week gifts, and they sent them out late due to packaging problems. Of course, it would be better to win the lottery - but the gifts are very nice! (A tote bag, a pedometer and a stress ball that is modeled as a computer). (I know this because I work in the office)
You are right, they are sending me a check
so obviously it has not been invested. How dare they use our money?
How would you be getting and sending the jobs? SM
I once worked for a hospital for all of six weeks. They had a main frame, which was extremely slow. The head of the department told me how fast it was. The problem was, she never used it.
Find out what the platform is like and if you can use Expanders and how they divvy up the work. Then I would take the job, because I work for national and it is indeed going downhill fast.
After sending one Email you should have
nm
I would see nothing wrong with sending
one to the company/office in general. It would be very nice I think.
Yes the same MTs sending work to QA
day in and day out. I get sick of it. And nothing is done about it from management.
re sending work to QA
I really don't believe we'd be penalized or cut for that, UNLESS it was for the same type mistakes over and over, or inexcusable ones that would be caught in proofing, etc. Hope I'm right.
Would mind sending me one as well?
I feel so out of it since I cannot talk to anyone about this.
I'm sending you an email. nm

My STM would threaten us with sending
work to India if work got out of TAT. I think it only did once or twice, as there was never enough work to get in my lines, but I don't take kindly to threats, and it shows a complete lack of maturity on her part.
I sent them an email asking too because I had no intention of sending
them a resume without knowing what the name of the co was. I am sure they get the message if people write.
She's right about sending the letter to Lou Dobbs...
After thinking about this, I realized there are probably several private physicians in Toledo who send their work overseas. My friend here in a smaller town south of Toledo lost her job several months ago doing dictation at a local Cardiology practice. One of the Indian physicians convinced the other partners that his friends in India could do the transcribing much cheaper. Someone else posted further down about offshoring going on even in the smallest towns in America and that is absolutely right. Your letter would get much more exposure and be taken more seriously with someone like Lou Dobbs at CNN.
Anyone else sending out resumes and hearing nothing?
I have 16 years in the business and 4-5 years editing experience, but am just not hearing back from companies advertising on the boards. Maybe they are receiving 100s of resumes...or is it just me? Anyone know of a company looking for an editor, please email me. Thanks!
I've also been sending out resumes and not
I've heard back from a few places wanting me to test and often don't even hear back after the test! I have over 17 years of experience and I can't be doing THAT bad on tests. I think it is probably that they are being inundated with responses.
To be honest, I do not expect a response from every single company I send my resume to. I do expect to hear back from a company once I've tested for them when it is at their request, however! I've hired before and know that when you get scads of emails, many from the same people over and over again, it gets hard to keep track of sending out I got your resume emails. If I emailed someone and asked them to test, though, I would most certainly let them know one way or the other.
I recently tested for a company that I had heard good things about and then never heard one word again. Not even that they received my test files back. I decided right then and there I wouldn't work for them anyway because that's just rude. It takes time out of our day to test and to not hear back--when they requested it--is pretty lame, IMO.
