Why so very few comments regarding Diskriter? Are comments by employees not permitted SM
on public forums. I have always been interested to see comments on this company, as they are constantly advertising and seem to have an attractive employee package. Unfortunately, never seeing comments on MT boards makes me extremely uneasy. I'm sure they could have stipulations in their contracts that prevent them from commenting, but even so I would expect to see good or bad comments even from ex-employees. Hmmm? Plus, if the anonymity is supposed to be in place on these boards, how can it hurt for employees to make a general comment, good or bad?

Is there any way that you can make a requirement that MTSO's who post on the job board list the name of their company.
I have responded to some of the anonymous posts by sending my resume and never ever hear a word back. It makes me uneasy because my address and phone number is on my resume.
After giving this some thought, why would a legitimate company post anonymously. On all other sites, companies who post jobs must list the company name.
Please consider making this a requirement.

What does a little hand pointing in front of a post mean? I am searching for a post of mine that looks as if it has been deleted. While searching I came across a reply of mine to a post, and there is this hand in front of it, and you cannot open my reply. I feel as if I am being boycotted or something - - LOL! Seriously, what is going on?

It's great you removed the post, but I didn't get to see it. Wondering if it wouldn't be fair to name the company so those of us who didn't see it will know what type of company we are dealing with if/when they repost an ad?
You could leave the ad and the company up as an example of how to get your ad deleted... what *not* to post.

what was offensive about my post that caused it to be deleted? Not a regular poster but wondering what is considered offensive? No name calling, no swearing, yet....the rude and aggressive posts are allowed to remain. Makes no sense to me.

I just thought I would let you and others know about a job that is posted on the job board. It was a ACUTE CARE MTS/EDITOR position that offer hourly wages. To me this sounds like a BIG SCAM. They send you an email stating that they are delighted to offer you a transcription position within a certain hourly range but then as you read further it states Please remit $25.00 for your independent contractor background check. We
accept credit cards, debit cards, money orders, money grams and cashier
checks as a form of payment.
Please note: We do not accept personal check. They go by the company name of Telecommuting Personnel Job Services or TPJS, Inc.
The ad never had the companies name in it as well.
I would think that if a company wants to hire you and do a background check that they would pay for it!

Job listings are written by the companies posting the listing. We do not define how they make their own listings.
If you feel uncomfortable sending a resume to an unidentified company, then you should not. Perhaps an e-mail to them asking for identification first.

I hope that this isn't someone's idea of a joke as I have already sent my resume. I find absolutely nothing on the internet regarding a company with this name. The ads indicate that they have several accounts already...why can't I find anything on this company?

They told the board administrator that they didn't
offshore, when there was proof that they did. Whether or not they posted the other stuff I don't know, but they lied and got caught at it and if that doesn't make them look bad, considering how sensitive an issue offshoring is, I don't know what will. They probably didn't think they would get caught.

This company has ads on other web sites. You have to pay them $55 to do a background check up front. Guess what? If you don't get hired, they've got your $55. Don't know if it's legit - just posting facts.

Pay is on time. Line counts are accurate. Account specifications are minimal. Account specifications are different for each account. Work is very feast or famine on most accounts. Minimal work, if any on weekends. No QA feedback, only minimal feedback from supervisor on occasion. General information about quality issues is inconsistent. The platform is simple (MQ's platform). Management is very unorganized. Quite a lot of poor dictators. Some lousy sound quality. Minimal ability to control speed on sound. Difficult to make respectable line counts per hour. Pay per line is reasonable. These are observations from multiple people working for DSG. Overall better than some companies. Benefit costs vary on your location if you elect to be an employee.

I think if you have comments about it you should do this
Put it in the suggestion box. If you know what another company is offering, then let them know. There is no need to bring it here as this will not do any good. Take it to management where results can be possibly achieved.
