Very rarely do I respond to posts that don't pertain to me, but try as I might, I just haven't mastered the ability to turn and look away when I see someone go out of their way to humiliate, disrespect, and degrade a fellow MT. We should be here to support and build eachother up, not tear eachother down.
If it hadn't been for several MTs sharing information and personal experiences, I never would have found the best job I've ever had in my 17 years as an MT. I'm sure many other MTs have also benefitted the same way.
The whole purpose of breaking the forums into specific categories is to make it easier to find the info we are looking for. When researching the company I am now with, I wanted to know everything...pros and cons, the good, bad, and ugly...especially the ugly. What is good for one MT may not be for another. Everyone's experiences are going to be different and those willing to share is what makes this forum so beneficial. You (general you) may not agree with another person's idea or opinion, but you (again, general you) don't have to disrespect it. Also, personal experiences ARE NOT debatable. They are what they are. If MT-A didn't like working for the same company as MT-B...so what? It's nothing personal.
What's heaven for some will be hell for someone else. ;)
